MEININGER Hotel Wien Downtown Franz

Price was good for room for 3 people, location is good, rooms are clean The bathroom was small and quite old, needed renovation Also parking was 25euro/day and in itinerary there is no info that it needs to be prebooked in advance, but reception told is that we better pay for all stay because other guests reserved spots... so felt a bit like scam

Not so clean, in the bathroom there was a persistent swuege smell. The central cooling system did not cope with the 38-39c heat in the period when we stayed there.

Location was a bit out of the way. Room was small and not particularly comfortable. Likewise the lobby.

Check in only possible at 6 pm !!!!!

The AC was not working in our room. And the window was locked and you can’t only half open it for ventilation

Odaların biraz küçük olması ufak bir dezavantajdı. Bunun dışında odalarda minibar bulunmaması bir eksiklikti; alternatif olarak sunulan ortak buzdolabında ise hem yeterli alan yoktu hem de oldukça kötü bir koku hakimdi. Tüm bunlara ek olarak, Wi-Fi bağlantısı odada zayıftı, internet çekim gücü konusunda maalesef sıkıntı yaşadık.

We did not know what kind of accomodation is this hotel and we will not come again

Check in was very fast and breakfast had nice food with a good variety. The hotel was quiet in all the areas which made for great sleeping nights. Excellent value for money :) I wish there was a toilet spray for the WC and more towels for the bathroom by default

No difference from a quality hotel, simply perfect, absoluetly recommend

Well maintained and the staffs are outstanding. rooms are very clean and the washrooms as well . Location is around 11-12 min walk from the train stations and there are couple of supermarkets in the locality Breakfast seems to be a bit expensive but they do have good variety of items

No curtains in beds, low privacy in the rooms

We tried to use the washing machine, which you had to download an app, however, the washing machine quit and our clothes were soaking. We notified the staff, and initially they just walked away, after notifying someone else, they helped and gave us a free dryer because we had to rewash the clothes. I would recommend this place, it’s just very busy in the shared facilities with not a lot of room.

Nothing its just 1.3km from centre

Overall, we didn’t really enjoy our stay. When we first entered the room, there were already someone else’s belongings inside, so we had to change rooms immediately. The location was good, but the room itself was dark and the bed was very uncomfortable. Although the room looked clean, the hotel in general did not feel properly maintained or clean. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay here again.

the closest u-bahn is 10 minutes away on foot which is not too bad but it's not really central keep that in mind if you want to stay in the center area

The guest kitchen - which you have freedom to cook or have your food delivered and eat outside your room. The kitchen - at night the sink is dirty as too many guest using it and seems no house keeper maintaining it.

Just 9 out of 10 cos a staff member made a small terrible joke.

The check-in could have been a bit flexible when someone is requesting with a valid reason. The fixed time check-in of 15hrs is not practical.
