Everything! I have made at least 15 visits to Vienna in the past 40 years, and I deeply regret not having stayed at the Hotel Wandl before. The location is within walking distance of almost every cultural attraction in Vienna. The rooms are modern and spacious. The staff is welcoming and helpful. It will be my number one choice for my next visit. Nothing.

Great location, right in the middle of old town, but, very quiet. Walkable to just about everything, we walked to numerous event venues and museums. Very good breakfast, very comfortable room bed was great. Nice bathroom/shower. All good, no issues

Absolutely stunning hotel on the same square as St Stephen's cathedral. 100m away from the U1 Subway, with easy and quick access all over the city. Extremely friendly staff, and a beautiful foyer area. The room is very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. I had a bath in my room, which was fabulous with a glass of prosecco. Breakfast was very plain, for a hotel of this level, BUT there was everything I needed wanted.

The hotel was located close to many sights. The St. Peter Church is just opposite where there is a nightly concert. Near restaurants. Room was great, breakfast lavish.

I have been scammed by this hotel. I booked 30,31, and 1 of January and they booked me in 30.31, and 1 of November. I made this booking ON 30 November , therefore they knew I had no way to amend the booking and they have charged me and have left me with no hotel and are refusing a refund. Disgraceful

Excellent location. Good breakfast. Sparkling wine available at breakfast everyday:) I have staid in this hotel at least five times. Nothing to complain.

Hotel Wandl exceeded our expectations! We stayed there July 11-15, 2025. Starting with the front desk staff-everybody was wonderful, warm and inviting. We had questions which they very enthusiastically answered and took their time to explain some of the areas/directions that we needed answered. Our first night we realized our air conditioning wasn’t working as good as it should and the next day I mentioned it to the front desk clerk, and when when we returned from our outings that day, everything was working perfectly. The rooms are not the largest…but they are more than adequate with a very comfortable (king) bed and pillows. Our shower was great and had excellent water pressure. The breakfasts were delicious and had a lot to offer. They always had scrambled eggs and sausages as well as a wide variety of cut meats and cheeses, tomatoes, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, a large selection of different bread/rolls/croissants and sweet treats. Also offered an array of juices and had an excellent coffee machine where I had my cappuccino every morning. You could not ask for a better location!! It is located directly behind Saint Peter‘s Cathedral in the heart of the Inner Stadt district. It was just mere steps to Saint Stephen’s Cathedral, restaurants, and shops. When we researched what area to stay…this was the premier district to stay in as it’s close to everything. We either walked where we needed to go or took an Uber. We never had to wait more than just one to five minutes for an Uber to arrive. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and if we ever visit beautiful Vienna again…we would only stay at hotel Wandl! You will not be disappointed. Nothing could be better.
