Shinagawa Prince Hotel N Tower

Check in process. Had to go to 3 different towers to get checked in.

The hotel was very conveniently located to the Shinagawa train station and the eateries nearby. Most of the staff were nice. The rooms were extremely small. We had read that the rooms would be small and so for our party of three, instead of a room with triple beds (for three of us), we picked two double-bed rooms. So, we asked for two room keys for each room. We got scolded so much for doing so for the second room and told that they would charge us 2000Yen if we lost the key. It was unprofessional and unnecessary. It really left a bad taste in our (tired) mouths. And the breakfast was AWFUL. THe eggs looked bad, the yogurt was so sour, granola was missing most days, and only decent thing was the matcha bread. The staff were always nice though.

Very close to JR Shinagawa Nothing

The location was the main draw - a 5 mins walk from Sinnagawa station. There are many places to eat and shop. The room and bathroom are a good size ( wuth bathtub) adequate for good comfort. The room has a mini fridge, bathrobe, slippers, iron provided. They gave many towels. The breakfast was generous with protein, a good selection of bread, beverages, soup, yogurt. Nothing.

Location is great - across the street from Shinagawa Train Station, shopping and restaurants on the premises, helpful and courteous employees, and clean rooms. Road construction in front of the property which prevents taxis from making a right hand turn when exiting the property’s parking lot. This results in some waiting time when exiting the property’s parking lot.

Breakfast was fine. Would have preferred Japanese breakfast. We liked the robot delivering us extra water.

we did not have breakfast only time for coffee. Location great as close to train station. Perfect place to stay as close to all your needs. Away from all the hustle and noise in Tokyo.

Conveniently located (Shinagawa Station), 7Eleven. Hotel staff knowledgeable and polite. Very small room for two with luggage initially, but hotel graciously gave us a larger room for which we paid the difference, but it was worth it.

Central location

This is the only place we stayed in Japan that provided breakfast, and though they called it a "light" breakfast, I thought it was perfect. Nice machine for coffee too, plus juice & tea. The hotel location is fabulous, just steps from Shinagawa station, but far enough off the busy street to feel more peaceful. We were there 2 nights and will prob base our Tokyo stay there completely if we go back! The one star deduction in cleanliness was from some spatters on the wall along the bed. Probably just coffee or tea, but I was surprised to see that it had not been cleaned off. Otherwise our room worked very well. Small but very functional (& even robes are provided).

Breakfast was so so; Could improve BEST location as there is a 7/11 downstairs and right across the train station Breakfast could have been better. Very few choices and compared to the business hotels, selection was not much. I have tried Toyota Inn, and Dormy Inn: their prices were less and in convenient locations, but their morning breakfasts were 100% better than the Prince Hotel. (Prince Hotel has a "Name" but disappointed in their breakfast choices.)
