The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially when my husband had to get some cold medicine for me. Got to breakfast and all the hot food were gone as well as the muffins. We and some people had to wait to have eggs, bacon, and potatoes. They need more staff to replenish the food regularly, especially for weekend traffic.

Easy check in. Breakfast was good. Room very clean and comfortable.

Night staff was incredibly useless. I was locked out of my room with phone inside. He would not allow me back in. Which is understandable. I told him the room was under my name but he said he had no way of knowing who I was. And I told him that everything was in my room. After going back and fourth with him he decided to call the police instead and said I was 86 from the property. WITH MY STUFF IN MY ROOM. this is the worst experience I have ever had.

We were very disappointed that the pool was closed due to green algae! We booked this hotel for the pool because it was over 100 degrees in Temecula the weekend we stayed. They had no explanation or timeline of when the pool would be open. We were very disappointed! If we had known the pool was not open we would’ve booked somewhere else! Also our bathroom light was flickering in our bathroom. This was very annoying. Every time you used the bathroom it was like a strobe light was going on. Overall, we were very disappointed in our experience at this hotel and will not book this hotel again.

Meh: weird they only let you have one key Bad: pool out of service. Real bummer for August in SoCal

Booked this room months in advance. Hotel check in states 3:00 pm. A very big inconvenience when your room isn’t ready when you arrive at 3:40pm. Especially when you had plans to get ready in the room for an event that started at 4pm. Also, when booking the room was told we would be able to store a cake in the fridge. Nope, attendant did not accommodate. Ice machine didn’t work and plug in restroom did not work. Worst experience at this hotel in my entire life. Not to mention , staff was not helpful and very rude as if we were bothering them. Very poor customer service

On a positive note, the location of the hotel is excellent, and the rooms themselves were clean with comfortable beds. The housekeeping staff clearly does a good job, but management is leaving the property severely understaffed and disorganized. I would hesitate to stay here again until they resolve their front-desk operations. Disappointing experience due to poor staffing and lack of organization. I requested an early check-in for 2:00 PM and called twice before arrival to confirm. Two separate staff members assured me it would not be a problem. However, when I arrived, no rooms were clean or available. I had to wait until 3:25 PM—well past the standard 3:00 PM check-in time—before my room was finally ready. The lobby was filled with other frustrated guests experiencing the exact same delay.

Location, breakfast Our room. Original room keys would not work after 3 different key attempts. We were put in an overflow room on first floor that look like the room was a staging room for all the extra furniture. Bathroom was not clean, sand in the tub and the sinks and tub backed up. The air conditioning in the lobby and breakfast area was not working a was very warm; it was cooler outside. We’ve never had a poor experience with a Hampton but this has made us reconsider our choice for next time. I will say the staff that assisted us was exemplary in how he handled the situation.

This Inn was close to a supermarket so it was quick trip for supply shopping. Staff was friendly. One minor challenge was for some reason I couldn't get the Smart TV to turn on. However, didn't bother me that much. Would consider staying here again if I'm ever need to be in Temecula.

We have stayed here many times before and we are always amazed by how clean the property and the rooms are and how helpful the staff is.

The pool was green and closed. It advertised a business center but did not have one.!

I booked a room that was supposed to have 2 queen beds and 1 double sofa bed for a party of 5 guest. Upon entering the room.. it only had 2 queen beds. No sofa, only a chair. From the front desk, I got a story about the couch not fitting in the room because of fire safety codes. If this were fact, then why do they do they advertise the room to accommodate 6!? Very unsatisfied.

Breakfast was good The pool was unusable. It was green

Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and everything was good. The hotel location was great--close to Old Town and close to the wineries we visited. It was also very quiet at the hotel, which we appreciated. There was some confusion at check-in. I had requested a room with two queens and a check in time at 3:00. When I arrived at 3:00 I was told my room wasn't going to be ready until 4:00 because I had been upgraded to a suite and there was one suite before mine to be cleaned. Since I hadn't asked for an upgrade, I requested another room but then was told hotel was fully booked. My friend and I were resigned to waiting another hour, but then front desk person had an idea to give me my original requested room of 2 queens and give the suite to people who hadn't arrived yet. As I was only staying a night, an upgrade was not as important to me as being able to check into my room in a timely manner because we were attending a concert that evening and wanted to have time to rest and freshen up before the event. So maybe letting people know beforehand that they can get an upgrade but that may impact the check in time and give them a choice.
