Great room in a great location. Breakfast was included (simple bread with butter and jam), and there’s free coffee and tea at all times. The room was comfortable and good temperature, but our window faced the common area with no glass but it still felt private since it had curtains. The WiFi was not too great, and we had to go to the common areas to access it.

No breakfast during my 2nd day of staying, maybe run out of bread at 9pm, also water heater is not so hot even at the max level, iron is not properly functioning, the queen bed is dented at the centre, wifi is slow at night when everybody is in... No other than that it is a good stay

They could use some new pillows, under the cases were a little gross, and I got bed bugs in one room but they instantly moved us and tore the room apart

The owner, least he said he was. Started with my wet boots, which I was drying outside the hostel door (upstairs), coming back after being gone 4 hours my boots where moved inside the hostel. I put them back outside to dry and he told me not to. I said they are wet and I want them to dry, then he took them, opened our hostel dorm while people were sleeping and told me I could hang them outside the window next to someone’s bed. I told him it wouldn’t be fair as they could stink and i didn’t want them hanging out the window incase they would fall (no getting them back. window didn’t open all the way and an advertisement sign under the window. he finished with you’re the reason my “f”ing hostel stinks. To be honest, i couldn’t understand what he said at first. i told him I had my boots outside the whole time, someone moved them inside and you’re telling me to place them here. how is it my fault? it’s raining outside and people are hiking. wet shoes, clothes etc are to happen he said your “f”ing stinking up my hostel. then i realized he was cursing at me. i told him not to speak to me this way. he said “f” you. i told him I wanted my money back and I’d go somewhere else for the night and he said “f” your money. then i told him I’d write a review and he said “f” your review. it was insane. im not sure if it was because i was a female, he thought he could speak to me like this or what. either way, completely uncalled for and no one should be spoken to like this. his son tried to calm him down and tried to apologize for him but it’s completely unacceptable. I didn’t feel welcomed or safe to be there. All over a pair of boots I was trying to dry out and be respectful of others and the hostel and I get completely disrespected in return. As a solo female traveler, I’d never recommend this place to any woman or anyone in that fact. No one should be spoken to or treated that way.

Room has no windows and if you take the shared bathroom room it can be that you're in front of the kitchen so slightly noisy. For us it was not a problem though, the place is airy so if you keep the door open for a while it's fine, and after 9 nobody was talking or making noises. Very good deal for the price!

owner was super friendly, he treated us to a simple meal when we arrived and gave us some fruit. He even invited us to eat dinner with his family, but it was a little too late at night for us. the room was quite clean and there’s a shared kitchen. Not great soundproofing so you can hear people in the shared area right outside the room and one night someone was watching videos on their phone until past midnight.
