Nice quiet yet central location, friendly staff, nice pub Shared bathroom was quite cramped and there were some stains on the carpet and the pub downstairs is open until late so there was some noise but nothing unexpected

Great garden area in street outside forms a ready beer garden for the hotel. Terrific staff. Close to light rail. Good food downstairs at the pub. A bit old and beaten up but I guess that's part of the atmosphere.

Good value for money. The small kitchen was a nice touch. The guesthouse felt homely, and the park surrounding the bar's terrace was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Loved that the pub was downstairs for dinner and drinks. Vouchers for free drinks and discount on food was appreciated. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. I couldn't get a steady stream of even temperature water in the shower in the evening, it went from scolding to cold back to scolding to cold. In the morning it seemed to hold the temperature fine. No heating in the room. Was not made aware by staff that there was a kitchenette I could use.

I did not realise that I had booked a room that did not have its own bathroom and toilet. My fault, but took me by surprise

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was great and room clean and tidy. Location was great and would definitely stay again.

Bit of noise from the pub downstairs, which is to be expected in a room above a pub. Recommend guests check Closing Time for the pub if this might concern them.

Lord Wolseley Hotel was genuinely gorgeous to stay at. The rooms were charming with everything we could possibly need. The community kitchen was absolutely adorable! The location was perfect, a quiet street that was walking/biking/tram distance to most things. The bar and bistro was equally lovely. The saff were so friendly and the whole place was an absolute vibe. 100% would recommend!!
