Walking distance to darling harbour Nothing We had an excellent stay

Convenient location. In summary, while our stay here was mostly pleasant, the negative experiences stood out the most and we'd like to highlight them here. Firstly, we stayed during winter. There was a typical wall unit control that appears, at first glance, control to temperature, mode (hot or cool), and fan controls. This was completely useless and did not give us control whatsoever. We could not even turn it off, and in a winters night, constantly blowing cold air (that's what it was set to), did not provide us with comfort. When we went down to the reception to enquire about this, the mode changed from cold to hot. And again, we had no way of controlling how hot, and we could not even turn the heating/cooling off. Secondly, we'd like to touch on the customer service. In our effort to correct and adjust the heating and cooling to staff, the lady at the reception was not only dismissive, it seemed she was inconvenienced by customers seeking assistance. We did not find this behavior acceptable. Thirdly, our room did not have a phone to contact reception. If you wanted to make contact with hotel reception for anything, then we had to get out of the room to do so. Fourthly, while most of the room was clean, there were aspects that were disappointing. The most notable being, we can see others' hair clearly visibly stuck on the curtain. We expected better quality of service and establishment for the price we paid for. While we'd like to say, and it is true, that the location is convenient. There are many other options nearby that facilitate the same level of convenience. I would exercise caution if you are considering on staying at Hotel Woolstore 1888. Thank you.

Very vintage and comfortable No

Lovely bar area with a great aymosphere.

Less than 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour. Well appointed hotel with a mix of bare brick and structural columns decor a nod to its former life. The rooms were well appointed and clean hotel albeit a little small but in keeping with its location in a large city. The breakfast menu had a good but not extensive selection and served good quality food. Professional and polite staff Nothing much aside from a slightly bigger room

Fantastic location, walking distance to Darling Harbour, the Fish Markets and the light rail (Convention Station). The bed was comfortable and soft. The rooms decor was quirky and fun and we enjoyed lovely coffee and breakfast at the restaurant. Staff were so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Parking was straight across the road and easy to find a park. The room was definitely on the small size for two adults, the bathroom was particularly tiny however I only have myself to blame for not checking before booking.

Beautiful property. Staff were very friendly, bar and restaurant downstairs was very convenient. Room was fantastic and bed very comfortable

the room was not huge but it was perfect for my needs The directions for getting to the property via public transport could have been clearer. I had to call the hotel for assistance. Some signage in the car park would have been helpful.

Very clean, which was appreciated. Took three requests before they would issue me a receipt. Their systems need reconsideration as they asked me to repeat my email address three separate times. I've already given it twice, why do I need to give you this again? Also, for a restaurant that was fully booked on a Monday, It's unclear why they don't have their restaurant open on a Monday night. Towels were very scratchy.

Great location for pyrmont and darling harbour attractions. Cosy and unique vibe. Staff were so lovely A little dated in parts, rugs stained, drains not draining effectively etc.
