The Pyrmont Budget Hotel

The location was good and the hot water was also good. No top sheet was on the bed, which probably is against the law. It meant that the doona was the only covering over us as we slept. It was obviously used by all clients during the week without being changed. So it was the mattress, one sheet and the doona, was the total make up of the bed. There is NO fire escape in the four story building! Despite booking and paying in full nine weeks ago, and requesting occupancy an hour before usual, the previous efforts by me where a total waste of time.

The staff allowed me to leave my staff next to the resection,it was stolen by others

Location is great Accomodation is decent No lift to go to Level2 Could hear the noise from common areas like Stairs and Laundry room even after 10PM

Location of the hotel Everything else -- customer service, check-in experience, condition of the room, cleanliness (or lack of) of the room, and most of all, I did not feel safe in my room.

Even if we stopped which we didn’t ( left within half hour ) would not have eaten there . The quality of the room was terrible. It was advertised as a bnb but was more like a flop house. One staff member couldn’t speak English. There was no wardrobe for our clothes, no where to sit or anywhere to put our suitcases. No bedside table only a lamp on the floor

The location is great, and despite being close to the city and other pubs it's still quite quiet in the room. There was visible grime and hairs on the bedding, towels and in the bathroom. I saw 3 cockroaches on the one night I stayed, as I decided to leave a night early.

Great location and lots of eating facilities nearby. Room average but okay for sleeping. Aircon satisfactory, room a bit stale but room freshener foxed that. No television, room a little ordinary, okay for short stay.

Very basic

Tiny room, tiny bathroom with the door not shutting, nowhere to change or hang clothing in the shower area.

It’s an excellent location Definitely not the nicest place, needs a major upgrade and just felt a bit grubby. In saying that, it was the most affordable place in that area by hundreds of dollars ! So if you plan on being out and about most of the time, than it’s totally fine for a night or 2

The is not allowed to be any talking in your room

The location was good It was very basic, the most boring room i have ever seen, and there was no hairdryer

staff is very friendly, hey do their best, hey helped to meet my rquirement and made my after stay comfortable as well, hotel is clean, welcoming is good, Access to staff is east, i definetely and strongly recommend this hotel dur to its staff, Location, cleaness, order and facilities everything was positive for me

Very Terrible Management, No Assistance, Nobody was there to respond to question and phone calls, Consider adding Handheld Bidet Sprayer IN YOUR TOILETS, VERY NECESSARY. Thank you customer service/relationship was terrible...

Very shady property, bad customer service. Do not book

Location was perfect! Close to the Darling Harbour. Cleaning was not done properly. Used paper cup found under the bed. Shared toilet was not cleaned daily. The hotel needed a refresh, it showed that the building is old.

The place in itself is not the most clean and easy to look at but overall it’s ok for the price paid. It looked dirty at the entrance once you come in it’s an old building that needs or could use much TLC. On our first night we were given a room that looked like a looker room turn into a room. It wasn’t clean and the showers looked dirty and molded, the linen was dirty and the towels looked like they had been used so many times that they would come apart. My companion fought some allergy reaction and we had bites on our body the next day from what I would assume were dust mites. I sent a message to management and the moved us to another room that was and smelled clean. There is no lift at the property which makes it a bit difficult to get to rooms.
