The location was great The room we got the corner room nothing special about it. Too expensive and the windows were not cleaned from the outside so it was hard to enjoy the views with dusty windows. We got another room which was just a basic room and that was better

I loved the location and wow what a view from the corner room it is amazing - absolutely stunning would highly recommend Few staff issues, like 2 men entered my room after knocking and they waited only 2 seconds before they literally opened the door. So I complained at reception they were understanding and supportive and ensured to fix the issue.

The location of the hotel and the room are both great I didn’t like the view from my window. It was looking at the road and not a very nice experience especially being in a location like Sydney with water surrounding everywhere. also, I asked to use a microwave and you did not have one in your whole facility which I find mind-boggling.

Great hotel and very friendly staff. Everyone is always smiling and make you feel at home. Location is great and we have plenty of privacy but not deprive of the view. Breakfast was also good and we had a-la-carte options as well. Internet speed was pathetic seeing how this is a top end hotel. Shower water pressure was also bad. We've upgraded our room but it didn't even have complimentary water bottle. Everything in the minibar was chargeable.

The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, Location was great as it was right next door to the Convention center. It was nice to go sit down at the bar at the end of the day and have a drink. Price! When I booked through Booking.com, I am sure I picked one with breakfast included only to be told that it was not included. I was really disappointed.

We had such a beautiful stay at Sofitel Darling Harbour! We were kindly upgraded to a suite for my birthday, which was such a lovely surprise and made the whole experience feel even more special. The service throughout our stay was amazing, and I especially loved all the thoughtful little touches. The evening turndown service was such a nice touch, and having chamomile tea left for us to enjoy before bed made it feel that extra bit luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view overlooking Darling Harbour was absolutely stunning as always, especially at night! Thank you so much to the Sofitel team for making my birthday stay so memorable. We felt so well looked after from start to finish and would absolutely love to stay again

I requested an upgrade to a corner king room and it was beautiful and very comfortable. The room service food was excellent and service was amazing. I really liked being able to speak to the hotel staff via Whatsapp, made it very easy to communicate with an put through requests when their website was down to order food etc. I am used to staying at a different hotel up the road where on each floor, there is a water and ice dispenser for you to go and fill up your water and ice. They did not have this option available however they brought me a caraffe of water and ice when I made a request.

We have only been here for an hour, and we are already extremely impressed. We have stayed in some incredible places, both in Australia and while travelling overseas, but the kindness and exceptional service we have experienced today have made a stressful day so much easier. Sofitel has truly stood out for all the right reasons. We arrived early this morning, exhausted and travelling with our little girl, who was unwell. We simply needed somewhere to drop our bags and rest before check-in, so being given a room to rest in was an absolute lifesaver and meant the world to us. Even the efficiency and care shown with our luggage was exceptional. The moment we stepped out of the taxi, a gentleman noticed us in the rain, asked us to go inside, and personally took care of our bags. They arrived at our room at exactly the same time as we did. We are now enjoying a coffee from your friendly staff downstairs and talking about how your service has stood out so much compared with other places we have stayed. Unlike our 10-day cruise, where it took an hour just to get settled, Sofitel had everything organised for us within an hour. Thank you so much for your kindness, care and exceptional service. It has made a difficult and stressful morning so much easier, and we truly appreciate it. THANK YOU!! Absolutely nothing
