Very romantic pretty hotel and room, which was very clean. The staff were wonderful - thoughtful and attentive. The hotel and bar had the perfect atmosphere and aesthetic for a reunion with my old flame, now partner. The big shower head and comfy bed were both excellent. We also got an upgrade, which we needed and was very welcome. The rooms really are very small with no real storage, even with an upgrade. The towels are right beside the toilet, which bothered me a bit. If I were going to stay again I would look at their larger rooms.

Location was fantastic! Right near Chinatown and shopping, five minute walk from Central train station and light rail. Staff and facilities were amazing would definitely recommend anyone stay here for City 2 Surf and if they were looking for a lovely stay in the city. NA

Fantastic value for money. Great location- particularly if you are seeing a show at the Capital Theatre. One street away from the tram and close to Paddy’s market. Hotel room was beautiful and staff excellent. Would highly recommend.

I liked the renovation, the colours were beautiful. It was spacious and accessible. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Would come back just for the staff! The only thing I would highlight is the bathroom wouldn’t dry properly. Grateful for the towels but they would stay wet the entire time which could lead to mould (I didn’t see any). Also the duvet underneath the duvet cover had stains which made us feel a little uncomfortable

I liked the room size. The fridge was barely cool and the TV volume didn't exceed 15. It was so poor I resorted to watching a movie on my laptop.

Excellent location. Not far from central. Close to Chinatown / capitol theatre / restaurants. Friendly staff. We had the bambina room which is obviously small, as per the name. The vanity in the bathroom is so close to the toilet you have to sit on an angle. Otherwise everything is well laid out with the minimal space, didn’t feel cramped. Very noisy, we could clearly hear people talking on our floor. Elevator noise. Water pipes noise. Some street noise, though that was less intrusive.
