Courtyard by Marriott St. Louis Downtown West

Downtown location was great. Decent look. Surprise payment for open parking. Also, no control for the room temperature.

Mary was so friendly and upbeat. Enjoyed our interactions with her. Room was so quiet. Easy location to get in and out of. It would be great if they could implement a shuttle service to events like ball games. Since Sybergs across the street closed, transportation is more complicated

The room was nice, the AC worked well. The shower was great and there were adequate towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was ample parking and good access to the highway, The pillows were of poor quality. I was under the impression from the listing on the booking website that breakfast was included, it wasn't. I had to pay to park in the lot in front of the hotel. I needed to make a change to my reservation but was notable to contact the property directly. They have outsourced reservations and I had to cancel and re-book my reservations to make the changes I needed to. When I tried to call, after several minutes of dealing with a really useless BOT, I got a human who's accent was so thick I could not understand it. We were there for 2 nights, the maid service did nothing in our room after our first night.

Did not eat breakfast there. If we had to pay for my breakfast then we went else where. Paying $20 to park ! I've travel to 47 out of 50 states and this was the FIRST time I ever had to pay to park at hotel I was staying! Only 3 bath towels when they knew 4 were staying in room. Shower lift was stuck up & hair conditioner bottle was broke and could not use. Someone before use had trimmed their toe nails and they were still on the carpet.

The location was perfect, not too far from downtown The only thing this hotel was missing was the pool..

The staff was so nice and helpful at check in and through out the night coming and going. The property is beautiful. It was within walking distance of major attractions in the area. You do have to pay for parking which I wasn’t aware of; I may have just missed that in the description. So that was a bummer. But overall was perfect location and just what we needed for our concert
