Lack of attention to customers and not clean rooms.

I was traveling with my friend, but I didn't do my research before booking it, so we got a bit *concerned* when we realized the hotel was in the party neighborhood. Being in our late 30s, we were def the oldest people who checked in (which was confirmed by the reception :D), but our young neighbors didn't make much noise at night, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean with a nice view of the bay. Amazing shower, with great water pressure. The staff was very friendly and they let us check out one hour later, which was very sweet of them. The beds don't have the best mattresses or pillows, unless you like the super soft ones, then you'll be fine. The piping system is quite loud (or maybe it's about the walls being thin). The fridge was great, we just wished there was also a kettle in the room. Otherwise all great.

It is by all means not a fancy hotel, but with proper expectations I think it is a great find in St Julian's. The hotel is located on a quiet street just off the main intersection, so it is very quiet even though you are about 2 minutes from the heart of St. Julian's. There are plenty of restaurants and 24h supermarkets near by, as well as all the main buses to other parts of the island just down the road. The hotel itself is quite dated, and can be seen on the appliances and furniture in the room, including some cheap patio furniture instead of a proper table and chair, but the rooms and linen are clean and spacious, so it is not a huge factor for us.

nice view from the balcony location good, near the bus stops, supermarket is close and its near portomaso (and the casino) could be cleaner

The people at the reception are understanding and helpful. Initially, we were assigned a room, which is 306, which has a small window facing the walls of all hotel rooms. Because the room smelled of mold, we complained at the reception and were assigned a new room, which was much better and had a sea view, so I can really praise the staff at the reception, thank you very much.

Location only With counting can’t finish No service no welcoming no water nothing it’s waste of money

The hotel staff is very loud, shouting in the hallway and slaming the doors from 8 AM and earlier so you can't sleep. I complained to the reception for three days in a row but the problem kept recurring the next days. They just don't care. Also, the mattresses on the bed were old and uneven with a dip in the middle so it was uncomfortable to lie on. The shower curtain was torn, so water sprayed all over the bathroom floor.

TV was not operational, the table was broken.

It was a good location Beds were rock hard and no tea making facilities also no pool use and breakfast was to say the least appalling for the value at 8 euro and we got a piece of toast and a coffee so need improvement
-
located close to the busstation and portomaso, great seaview, size of the room, friendly staff been several times to st. julians, in this pricerange this is the best place to stay imo

The male Columbian receptionist was super polite and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and clean. It was very hot and humid in Malta, so I was grateful for the a/c. I would stay again. I think it used to have a pool, but it wasn’t accessible now. The common toilets in the corridors could be cleaner.

I like the location and the balcony. I didn't like the condition of the kitchen utensils; even the kettle was damaged. And the pool was never opened.

Nice hotel, quite, clean and regular. The guy who is always at reception is very good, probably Argentinian or Brazilian. Very nice, we would go back for a quick break into Malta city for a cheap price.

Amazing location, very big terrace, daily cleaning, staff friendly and professional. Had no problems during my visit It’s not the cleanest but definitely not horrible as other reviews suggest. Would need a big of a deeper cleaning and the decor is a bit outdated

The only thing we liked was the location of the hotel. There was a shop just down the road which is 24/7. Also loads of bus stops and restaurants We arrived at the hotel around 3am and as soon as we went into our room I noticed blood stains on the extra bed, on the furniture and on the duvet that was in the wardrobe. I was furious especially because the hotel knew that I am 6 months PREGNANT.. The bathroom was also dirty with stains. In the morning I spoke with the lady at the reception who I later found out is the manager and she said she will tell the cleaning team to replace the bloody bedsheets and duvet and clean the room. Please note that I have put the bedsheet and duvet with the blood stains on the floor so the cleaning team can take away. We went out for the day and came back late afternoon only to find that they folded the same duvet put it back in the wardrobe and the bloody bedsheet was on the bed. I was so furious at that point and I went down to the reception. It was a different person I think his name is Dobi and his customer service was excellent. He has upgraded us to a bigger and MUCH CLEANER room for the night until he speaks to the very same manager I spoke to about the situation. After he spoke to his manager, they offered us the upgraded room until the last day of our stay. Honestly, if ot wasn't because of Dobi's amazing customer service, I think we would still be in that dirty room. To add to this, the pillows had stains and my face is now full of spots. Also, when we moved to the upgraded room and the cleaning team came to change the bedsheets, the new bedsheets had stains on. Honestly very unhygienic

The room as small wasn't allowed to open the windows and when you did you found out why no balcony. Felt very claustrophobic and for what we paid it wasn't worth it
