Spinola Hotel

Breakfast was okay but could do with a few more choices and fresh fruit.

the website is not working properly, not recording my ratings so I CANNOT DO THAT. The Spinola was good to stay in, friendly staff, all very clean and new. one or two minor technical problems which needed sorting, Breakfasts good, but not excellent. nice swimming pool but actually half the size it looks on your photo. we did not try the Italian restaurnt attached as it did not look exciting compared to other places nearby. St georges beach was very disappointing indeed. huge building operation overshadowing and wrecking the view, water not clear at all, sandy beach dirty and overcrowded, with very noisy cafes see above

Clean and tidy room with housekeeping everyday. Near to the bus station and the staff are so nice! I arrived at midnight and they were waiting for me all the time! The TV provides Netflix and YouTube channels No window.

The room didn't have a window and it has some strange noise from the building itself. Still it was an upgrade from my single small room.

Perfect location and good value for money. Super friendly staff and easy access to public transportation

location only, there rest is terrible. imagine getting into room with no window and only window opening to shaft of the building with toilet pipes hanging and you cant open that window because of smell, they ask double to price to give room with window. quite sneaky place that put you in with cheap price in a box then try to charge you with having window in another room upgrade.

the shower needed repair in my room, as it was leaking water and going to the room. not critical, but it needs handling

Breakfast.

The location is alright The breakfast is extremely basic and of very poor quality. The bacon smelled bad. The room is tiny and the microscopic sink in the bathroom is squeezed between the wall and the shower. Smaller than regular shoulders width so you can’t even face the sink straight.

Everything is quite new at the location, and works properly. The room is of decent size. While the breakfast is extremely basic, there are plenty of good restaurants and cafes all around. Everything in St Julian's is easily accessible on foot. When I arrived (sharply at my declared check in time), there was no one at the reception except a couple of construction workers. It took them some 10-15 minutes to get the receptionist. When he came, he was very friendly and welcoming.

We arrived by a very early flight but the staff was kind enough to let us check in way before the usual check in time, which made our day and changed the way we felt about any inconvenience we had afterwards. So thankful !! Towels were changed and room was cleaned each and every day - fabulous!! Double rooms are spacious and comfortable. Free water to fill our bottles, free coffee and even free snacks at reception. Free gym and gorgeous infinity rooftop pool. Hotel key card gives 10% discount at the supermarket just across the street. Great location close to shops, restaurants, promenades, bars.. Basic but nice, sink in our bathroom was too small and toilet paper holder was broken.

Location was fantastic. Plenty of eateries close by. Bus stops also close by giving access to the whole island. Jhon was absolutely amazing. He couldn’t do enough to make our stay fantastic. He is such an asset to the hotel. Limited on toiletries.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed to check-in earlier than expected. The pool and the view from the top of the building were great. One parasol was broken and it was very hot at the top so we were unable to get some shade in the hottest hour. Good location near bus stop and shops/restaurants. Water refill station available. The room looked like it was recently remodeled but the last touches were still missing. It felt like it was not fully finished. The shower was leaking in one of the corners so it would flood the bathroom when showering. There was a lot of dust under the beds. It felt that housekeeping was done quite late (around 4pm one of the days when we were in the room resting). I spilled tea on my duvet and it wasn't changed at all during the stay. The stain was visible. The breakfast lacked fresh fruit. I didn't try the eggs as they seemed overly cooked.

Room great are snagging issues but sorted quickly Breakfast juices and coffee could be better

The Staft was so friendly and Helpful. The Hotel was in perfect Location around Restaurant and Shopping mall.

Nice property after renovation, cleaning after renovation should be repeated Staff was nice, but ladies couldn’t help me how to get to the proper bus

The location was excellent, the pool was great and the room was pleasant. Breakfast was also really nice and the staff really helpful! It could be a bit more clean and the pool area could have chairs and umbrellas in better state.
