Holiday Inn Express South Burlington Downtown by IHG

Cons: Unfortunately, the elevators were out of service during our stay. I also felt there was a stale smell in the hallway and room. The lobby was also a little dark - but this could be fixed with better lighting.

Noce and clean only issues was no elevator was working. Hard on the knees 3 floor.

One of the best stays we have had in a long time. Debra was quick to help us and as soon as she was aware of lots of ice on the floor that someone spilled, she got it cleaned up right away. Breakfast was one of the best. Loved the variety and protein included. Yeah!

The hotel and room itself was really clean room was very large only thing was that the ac system we had in the room would make a really annoying noise none stop to the point that we just left it off

Arrived in the rain around 6 pm, the only room offered or available was on the third floor, and elevator was broken. My wife and I are old and I have walking difficulties. Fortunately I was able to find availability at a different location. All this would have been acceptable to me until I learned that the elevator has been broken for more than three weeks. Guests with reservations should have been notified earlier that access to higher floors would not have elevator access, so that alternate plans could have been made.

Clean room and helpful staff. Very noisy at times. Breakfast available and left fruit and coffee out❤️

Elevator was not working during entire stay despite being told by staff it was going to be fixed before check out. Had to carry 3 heavy bags down multiple flights of stairs. Common areas were dirty, staircases needed a thorough vacuuming, gym floors dirty especially under treadmills, gym had a dirty smell , front desk person was rude when I asked when elevator would be operating again.

This hotel was clean and comfortable and was a good location for us to stay over on our travels. Only issue was that the elevators were out. The nice man on the front desk was very helpful and polite.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service the two days I was there. The breakfast was great except for the pancake maker wasn’t working.

Very good hotel. Close enough to everything in Burlington. House keeping only checked in once in 5 days, and that was only after I requested them for towels.

Hôtel was very clean and the everyone was very nice. The hotel is in the perfect location convenient to everything and right beside the highway. Would definitely go back and recommend this hotel.

The bathroom needs better lighting. It felt dark. I wished I had more light to apply makeup.

Stayed while dropping our son off at UVM. Close to the campus and easy access to Burlington.

Room was ok. Pool closed. Tree in parking lot covered my car in a sticky film. Breakfast was good. Didn't come to clean the room till 630. Not worth 230 a night. Will book in different hotel next time.
