Abian Ayu Villa

My wife and I loved this hotel. Beautiful grounds set amongst the rice fields. Truly loved our private swimming pool. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. A special shout out to Sinta, Piani and Budy. Great stay! N/a

The place is amazing, beautiful, it's located in the middle of a rice field. The staff, especially Sinta and Piani were very kind and helpful. We stayed in a private villa which was big, beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was served in our villa everyday and it was very complete and exquisite. They helped us by arranging a driver to visit nearby areas and also with the laundry. The spa room should improve, it was not really inviting. I went once for a treatment and did not like the room so I did not come back for another treatment. Some common areas need maintenance, in particular the grass and plants in the villa area. We tried some dishes at the restaurant and they were very small, but this was not an issue as there are many hotels with restaurant at walking distance to have dinner as an alternative.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We want to especially thank Sinta and Piani, who brought us our tea every day and also served us at the restaurant. They were so friendly and were genuinely interested in getting to know us. Piani made sure we everything we needed in our villa making for a magical stay. Sinta also was the instructor for our cooking class, which was one of the highlights of our our stay. She made it so much fun! But Sinta and Piani were not the only ones who made us feel welcome. This was true of the entire staff. At the front desk, Butu was very helpful in arranging activities and transport. The villa itself was magical. We had a private pool that was wonderful for cooling off in. The garden was lush and beautiful, with rice terraces on all sides. We loved sitting out on the front porch eating our breakfast or taking our afternoon tea, and just relaxing in such a gorgeous location. We were there for only 3 nights, and wish we had booked for longer. There was some ongoing construction on new villas that created some noise, but it was not too bothersome.

The staff was unbelievably warm and welcoming -- I looked forward to chatting with them and they helped me with transport in Sidemen, day tours, laundry, and transfer from Ubud! The staff is always happy and smiling, it's so lovely to see and to be around people like that. The breakfast every morning was also incredible, the afternoon tea too with a little dessert! Can't recommend this place more. The masseuse was not the best.. I would pass on that.

Everything!!! It was one of the best stays I had in Bali… The pool was clean The food was delicious The laundry service was cheap and amazing Staff was awesome The ambience was outclass I hope I’m not forgetting to mention anything I loved about it ? Nothing

Nice view and friendly staff Our room was moldy - smelled like humidity and mold - need a serious fresh up We cut our stay short because of it and changed hotel too bad the hotel has potential. Almost all elements were damaged and rusted / damaged by humidity

Beautiful views from our deluxe double with balcony. The staff were all friendly, helpful and hardworking. The restaurant was comfortable, food delicious and great breakfast options. Would love to stay here again The rice fields have not been tended to - seems a little overgrown so not exactly as pretty as in the photos. The mirror over the washroom sink is hung too high, not enough places to hang towels in the washroom.

Absolutely gorgeous It would have been nice to have the rice terrace portion look nicer, it was probably just between harvests

Meals were great. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

A big shoutout to Piati, who really made our stay special. She was incredibly forthcoming, attentive, and always went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable

I stayed in Abian Ayu Villa for 2 days. I had a fantastic time. The room has a beautiful view and quite comfortable (if a bit compact). It is the staffs that truly impressed me. They were very helpful and courteous. They were able to give good recommendations and made my stay/sightseeing good. The breakfast was great.

The views are great. The stuff is friendly. Decent breakfasts I don’t know why this hotel’s rating is 9.3 … it’s a decent hotel with nice views. But it’s not 9.3 :) The rooms are not super comfy ( the bed is very hard, the door to the bathroom makes so much noise, the walls were very thin I could hear people upstairs easily) the bathroom were outdated and the curtains had stains and mold. Rooms smell like a mold a bit.

The location the peace and quiet except for some construction work of the resort expanding during day time.

The view was amazing. Nice location with other food options close by. Kind staff that helped us arrange tours/transport. Our room was supposed to be with a garden view, but we looked into a wall and it was quite dark on our little patio. The room was very sparsely furnished. The hotel lacks a lounge/bar area to relax in when raining - very important when you’re in a room like we were (probably not as important in a big villa)
