Holiday Inn Express Shanghai PVG Zhuqiao by IHG

First of all, great hotel close to Pudong airport. But not that close. In fact, its half an hour away. So, if you see a Holiday Inn express close to the airport, think again, many have been fooled. So, when we finally found the right Holiday inn and our nerves settled, our minds changed. Yes, the hotel is away from the madding crowds but once you settled in, it's very good value for money. Good size rooms, free laundry, and a mixture of Eastern and Western breakfast. So, we settled in and appreciated the free shuttle to the airport and Disney if you are staying longer. We will return later in the year. Being called a airport hotel when in fact it's so far away. Apparently, any hotel in the Pudong suburb is allowed to be called an airport hotel, anyway still good value/

Not convenient for food

The hotel is well cleaned. Easy access and facility to the rooms. Breakfast was also provided enough. It misses some facilities like hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner

Room quality Too far from the city

Rooms are pretty spacious. Staff is very kind and fast. Handle any issues with ease. Shuttle bus is a good bonus for travelers. There is no restaurant for the lunch and dinner in the property. Neither in the two hotels nearby.

Clean and friendly staff It would be nice if they publish shuttle schedule on booking.com website or email me the schedule. like some other competitve sites do.I had to ask someone to call the hotel and find pickup location. unnecessary.

The hotel staff were very helpful despite the language barrier The language barrier and lack of access to internet that could assist with payments at the venues especially for Visa and mastercard

Road traffic is not comfortable

Wonderful new hotel, spotlessly clean rooms. Comfy beds. Free shuttle bus to and from airport. Not much to see in the area, but a lively neigbourhood just some 4 km down the road. If you don't want to travel all the way to downtown Shanghai between your flights, take the taxi from the hotel to Pudong Shopping centre and there is a full street of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants to kill several hours.

Our Check in person Anna, was fantastic, we were to be at another property and she took us in, we felt like Mary and Joseph looking for a place at the Inn...we were treated very good...your check in process is efficient and easy also your breakfast is FANTASTIC!! Thank you We wish the other elevator was working...we know how efficient the people of China are and to have the elevator down was a downer, but it was alright, we didn't really mind the wait and we also took the stairs up to the 6th for for exercise

Nice place The location

The hotel is clean, near the airport, with excellent breakfast and the workers are friendly. There are a fen simple restaurants within walking distance The location is a bit isolated and out of town

I arrived just as the restaurant was about rounding up breakfast service. Hotel's front desk staff on duty that morning kindly offered to deliver it to my room. This became one of the highlights of my stay. First time to have room service by a robot. Impressive to say the least. Other than that, the breakfast was well packed and well presented. Enjoyed it Nothing negative!

it was clean and modern stuff tried to scam me for money no one speaks english location is pretty far like 25-30 min from airport and they didn’t send any instructions how to get to the hotel with a shuttle bus

Breakfast was superb, lots of different types of food, Asian and European as well. Freeshuttle was perfect, Nothing, I can recommend this hotel to everyone
