Good value and friendly staff. Location was great. Rooms were fine, although simple, small and a bit old. My parents had to switch rooms due to bad smell probably coming from the bathroom. But otherwise it was an okay stay.

Great location. Nice towels. Two bottles of water provided a day - much appreciated given that it is notoriously Europe’s hottest major city. Small fridge in room not very cold. Kettle and tea and instant coffee provided with creamer tubs and sugar. Shampoo/body wash provided and replaced daily. Very kind and helpful staff. Loved the rooftop terrace for sunset views and hanging out before heading out for the evening. We frequented the restaurant across from the hotel for various meals, tapas, drinks, etc. - they have awnings and misting tubes set up during the day and a nice ambiance in the evening too. Yessica was our server every day and she was so sweet - happy to indulge my Spanish but also spoke English. We noticed tour groups passing through and pausing there on their tour so it seems to be highly recommended! Parking costs 27€ a day in the public garage that is not very close, especially for older or disabled people. Can only get to the alleyway with the car for drop off and pickup and then have to walk the luggage to the hotel. One of the receptionists told us that on weekends the city offers free parking in the blue zones, diagonally across the street from the public underground car park so we moved it the next day and that helped offset the unexpected cost but didn’t help the long walk for my travel partner who has COPD in addition to the intense heat. The shower cubicle is quite tight. I am not a very big person and found I had to lean against the wall to make room to raise my lower leg to shave it. I do yoga and it was challenging even for me. Haha

Very small rooms And very noisy Not good breakfast

Location Staff Cool old stuff, like the ceiling in the lobby Air conditioning didn't work in my first room, but they moved me to another, bigger room where it did work. Water pressure through the shower is really low

Having a swiming pool on a very hot day. Good breakfast. Facility was very well maintained. Would like to have had 2 comfortable chairs.

Nice room, great location

Great location in the Barrio Santa Cruz, between the Alcázar and adjacent park. Fun antiques in lobby.
-
Fantastic service, location, quality of the facilities. Better soundproofing of the walls. Could hear the people in the next room pretty loudly.

Great interiors and location

Our room was disjointed

It was strange to get a comb at disposal, but not to have a toilet brush. The bathrooms are ancient and need some renovation.

Pretty, clean and close to everything

Room was too small for two people.

Loved the location, it was perfect. The countertop in the bathroom was large enough. Bed was comfortable. And the fruit plate was a nice touch. The shower. For one, the floor of the shower was very, very slippery. I was afraid I might slip and fall. I used a towel to stand on. There was no shelf in the shower - which is understandable because it was very small. But when I reached out to pick up my shampoo, water spilled on the floor. A great deal of water. I did not have extra towels to dry the floor so I was concerned to use the electric hair dryer. It took overnight for it to mostly dry out.
