The roof terrace bar. Cathedral bells.

Really nice room and was nice to have a view of the cathedral, but the reality of the location is revealed below Impossible to sleep despite the ear plugs left by the hotel on the bedside table. (First time I’ve stayed in a hotel where earplugs are provided)- we were on the 4th floor and the hotel had a roof top bar on the 5th floor with noisy people descending the stairs past our room till early hours (4am). Also the noise from the various strips wheres theres bars concentrates noise levels again till 4am ish followed by the throwing out of empties and collection and returns of outdoor tables from the pavements. Of course you also have the cathedral bells ringing out all night on the hour and half hour and waking the town up at 9am with its multiple ringing. On Sunday morning we were woken by the virgin Mary on a trailer accompanied by her entourage of a full brass band and dignitaries. All in all, no sleep on 3 nights stay! Obviously none of this is in the control of the hotel ( except the roof top bar) but unless you’re out joining in with the noisy party goers, this isnt the place for you!

The price, the location, the room and view can't be faulted. Of course it's noisy it's in a city that never sleeps. Cleaners work all night it seems. Just be properly tired at bed time.- not hard Nothing to complain about, right next to a 5 star hotel that has the same noise

When the room was showed to us the malfunction of the toilet tank was presented as particular way to use it : turning a tap and you have water at the toilet. But the water didn't fill the tank, as about to discover when you need it the most.

The location was amazing, as well as the view on the cathedral and the street. It was easy to access everything by foot, we didn’t have to use public transport much - but that’s about it when it comes to the positives The reception is technically non-existent. We arrived early, at 10 am, but there was no one to greet us and to store our bags. It was hard to find the place too - since there was no sign of this hotel. But the worst thing was the noise - it is by far the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed at. We were on the 4th floor next to the elevator, so we could hear people leaving the rooftop bar all the time. The noise from the street was also waking us up, they don’t have proper sound insulation, so we could hear EVERYTHING. It was not relaxing at ALL. I had a work meeting at 10 am, which was supposed to end at around 11.20 - but the staff didn’t want to accommodate and extend the checkout by 20 min, so I had to frantically search for the place to have my online meeting. Also, the staff doesn’t speak any English at all.

The room was a great size and really clean. Staff were friendly and the central location was great. Loved the rooftop bar too. Slightly noisy but that’s to be expected in the centre of a Spanish city. You’re not getting a quiet night sleep in any hotel in the city centres! The earplugs provided was a great touch!

We really liked the location and the staff. This hotel is in a fun area with beautiful views and lots of things to see and do. There are many food options close by and the staff was friendly. We did not get to visit the rooftop bar because we were to busy and tired but it seemed popular. We stayed on a Friday night and construction started at 8:57 AM Saturday morning. It was continuous hammering for 30-45 minutes which meant there was no sleeping in after a long night of exploring. This hotel has ear plugs on the nightstands for guests. I am assuming that it's because it is a popular area with the night club. However, ear plugs do not blockout the sound and thudding vibration through the walls from hammering.
