Comfort Inn Chicago Schaumburg - O'Hare Airport

The hotel was beautiful & clean. The staff on duty was very helpful and there was a great restaurant within walking distance. I spoke with someone 3 times before booking at this hotel in regards to their airport shuttle service. The person or persons I spoke with never mentioned the shuttle hours, that we had to reserve the service or that there was a fee. When we landed at the airport we ended up having to take a taxi because the shuttle was not available. That was an expense we had not planned on. For 2 women traveling this could have become a very bad situation very quickly. The shuttle fees I felt were a little high but the service the next day returning to the airport were nice and the shuttle was very nice.

Cost was less than nearby competitors. Food was good although lacked variety (same every other day). Parking lot seemed safe and well lit. Common area was clean and somewhat inviting. Good place is looking for budget and basics.

Worst hotel I ever stayed

No. The room too tiny, not clean. Refrigerator is not working well. The cleaning is not clean and change the towel each day.

It’s an okay hotel, you get what you pay for. The door stop was removed from my door, which is odd.

Go to bed. The guy that brought us the blanket had such a mad angry face. The next day I requested my room to be cleaned for the following day. Once the the next day came the only thing was cleaned in my room was garbage changed that’s it. When complained he’s like of we only charge garbage not full clean unless you request it. I told him that’s what I asked for. We stayed aug 15-Aug 18 rooms not even cleaned once. Out of all the comfort in I have stayed at this was the worst one. Staff super rude, attitude and smelly hotel. Also there was refill water station by the coffee and it was empty when my son asked if someone can refill it so can have some water the guy working aug 17 around 11pm told my son to do use the vending machine and pay for it because he was to lazy to refill the water. The breakfast not bad

While rooms were clean I was surprised that our room key didn’t allow us pool access. We had to find staff to get them to let us in. It was a hassle and made us not want to use one of the amenities we had specifically chosen that hotel for.

Room was nice sized, bed was comfortable. Condition of room was decent. Overall it was pretty clean. Air conditioning worked well. Laundry on site was very convenient. Parking was ample. Light fixtures have built in plugs for charging - convenient! Hotel and guests were generally quiet and not disruptive. Staff was not very friendly. Overall condition of hotel common areas was poor and didnt seem well maintained - doors and floors scuffed up. Only main lobby was air conditioned, but hallways were not. Hallway lighting also very poor - too dark. Not enough towels. Pillows were too small and soft. Literally no toiletries provided - even a bar of soap. Water pressure was not great. At one point they had a septic sewer contractor running right through the lobby and into the kitchen area. The entire lobby smelled like sewage. Really offensive. They should have waited to do this on off hours or tried to minimize the exposure to the lobby.

Overall great stay and value for the money.
