Location was very close to main train station and while I was warned it was not safe in the area, the hotel street was full of restaurants and lovely. The hotel itself had 24hr friendly front desk and felt secure. Very basic room. Very simple beds. Or more like cots with just a sheet (it was summer in a heat wave). No amenities other than a small shampoo. For the price it was adequate. It is a building shared by several hotels. Walkable to the heart of Rome and close to metro. The toilet seat was loose but at least clean... The noise from the nightlife outside prevented us from opening a window but at least the air-condition sort of worked. Very very basic without even a tea kettle.

    Everything was great

The air conditioning leaked water, there was a small cup to catch it but it filled up every hour or so

Great location near Roma Termini. Easy walking to many things and public transport abundant Not the nosy comfortable bed but not terrible

the air conditioning is quite weak and not enough to cool the space properly.

Location is very good for traveling on from Rome via rail and great value for money. More like a hostel (old city apartment block) set up over multiple floors with a manned reception and little in the way of hotel amenities.

They let us drop off our luggage early when our plane flights got all switched up. They also helped me call the driver for the next day to pick us up. Very nice staff and located close to great restaurants like the one I posted in a photo and located close enough to walk to some of the attractions.

The hotel is old, air conditioning was set on the building, you coudn't change the temperature, outdated bathroom, small room and the noise from neighbours, you could hear the doors closing, because of the heat you leave the windows open and hence you hear all the noises from the street as well.

Up in a big building that holds a couple ‘hotels’. Tiny (but cool old school cage) elevator. I love that these old fashioned weird old places exist, but I ended up paying around $200 US in June ‘26 which is too much for this quality. TINY shower, grumpy desk staff, dark, up many floors. Don’t pay more than 150, for sure. The neighborhood, though I love it, is pretty grotty, but largely safe.

The location is great close enough to Rome Termini. The hotel room smells very old, we had to spray perfume to help mask the scent. The bathroom tub was sooo very tiny, when turning from side to side in the tub your elbow always turns off the shower. So if you are fat you would stand in 1 spot to shower no moving around in there. lol When sitting on the toilet your knees are touching the sides of the shower and I’m average height 5’8. They tend to turn off the air condition every single time we left the room. We were walking around in 90F outside sightseeing and when we got back to the hotel room it was scorching hot as well, because they turned off the air condition. We got dirty/stained towels when they came in to clean the room and turn off the air. We had to go ask for more towels. There was no other amenities offered (no complimentary shower cap, hand lotion, blow dryer, shower gel, room phone etc).

I will surely recommend ?the hotel is very clean and spacious, I got high value for my money, location perfect ?we got to the hotel about 1am the receptionist was very nice, when ever I visit Rome again I will sure stay in this hotel. I like the room, the location and the fact that the hotel Receptionist work 24/7 so even if one gets to the hotel late at night you don't have to worry, the hotel gat you.

    Not too clean

  • Engine customer May 2026

The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful even with their limited ability to communicate in English and mine to communicate in Italian! We had a room with 3 single beds, which I knew when I booked. It would be nice if they could add bigger beds (more comfortable) to the room.

Clean, safe, convenient location, friendly staff. All good

The location is excellent; we were able to walk everywhere. My only comment is that the shower is a bit too small. The Wi-Fi signal was weak in the bedroom.

The location wonderful No extra mirror in the room, only bathroom so when it’s a family it is kind of challenging
