Hotel Homs

The location is excellent and very convenient. The reception staff were wonderful, extremely helpful, and always quick to respond whenever we needed anything. The housekeeping team was also very cooperative and attentive. The luggage staff were very helpful and did their best to assist us, even though there seemed to be only one person available per shift. Overall, we were very impressed with the staff’s professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help throughout our stay. The main issue was the air conditioning, which was very poor and definitely needs major improvement. Even when it was running, the rooms were still uncomfortably warm and we would sometimes find ourselves sweating. In one of our rooms, the air conditioning stopped working completely on two separate occasions. The staff responded quickly and managed to fix it each time, and we truly appreciate their excellent support, but the underlying air-conditioning system clearly needs to be addressed, especially during the summer months. It is a shame for a hotel with such an outstanding location and such helpful staff to have this kind of issue. The elevator also seems to need maintenance and possibly renovation. It sometimes shakes noticeably when stopping, even with only one person inside, which can feel a little unsettling.

Location is good - really close to Spanish Steps, Travi Foundation On here it says aircon - there is no aircon. There was a fan covered in mould and given it was 37/38 the room & hotel were pretty hot. I asked staff about it and she said “I told you when you checked in” and went on to explain they have to keep the room 6c cooler than outside. She didn’t mention this when I checked in at all. She said I should keep fan on at all times but only gave me one room key and it needs the room key to activate the fan. So asked for another. Ended up being really ill so left two days early. The hotness of the room wasn’t helping. Paid for breakfast and never got to eat it. Went to check out early and got “why?” Explained I was ill and heading home earlier and she said “well I can’t refund you the two nights”. Oh and the safe didn’t work. The room looks nothing like the photos. It’s an old ran down hotel. Really overpriced for what it is. Plenty of nicer hotels out there - don’t waste your money on this one.

Location of hotel was brilliant, felt really safe and lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. I was very happy. Air conditioning in room could be better Breakfast was ok staff were lovely but maybe more options for Ceoliac/Vegans

The kindness of the staff, who do their best to make you feel like home and respond immediately in all the requests. Also the big variety at the breakfast buffet, the willingness of the staff to help and offer. In addition to that the bedroom is clean and well equipped. Last but not least the privileged location of the hotel in the heart of Rome. Although Homs has the above advantages, it needs a renovation to some degree. The changes will definitely advance the quality of the hotel, that we chose every time we visit Rome since 2007.

We had an excellent stay. The location was perfect for exploring Rome, with major attractions easily accessible on foot. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They even gave us an upgraded room for our wedding anniversary. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Staff at concierge only Antonella was helpfull. The other two were indiferent and not at all helpful. Breakfast poor with staff very good especially the black woman. Location was thw better point . The room was old ,wall cracvked, matress owful soft and old not supporting the body; at the edge you could fall off the bed. Air conditioning not able to regulate to preferance. Bathroom poor. Complete Disappointment .
