Excellent location, friendly staff, room was very comfortable in the heat of summer with great air conditioning. The rooftop bar was a hidden gem, offering panoramic views of Rome including the Pantheon! Nothing, it was perfecto!

Centrally located with less than a 10 minute walk to many historic sites. You can walk in any direction and find shopping and restaurants. The air conditioning was easy to adjust and worked very well. There was no night noises outside at all. The hotel was very quiet. The elevator was great. Their included breakfast was delicious. Our bathroom was a little clumsy. It was difficult to get in and out of the tub shower. I would have preferred no bathtub to climb into.

Location is outstanding. An easy and interesting 20 minute walk to Vatican City and colosseum plus a taxi stand directly across the street. Wide restaurant choices nearby plus two major squares/piazzas within 5 minute walk. Hotel itself is everything you could ask for with well appointed and spacious room ,by Rome standards, nice roof top bar plus great breakfast area and food choices. Staff were all knowledgeable and helpful and arranged our transportation to cruise port. So, if you want to stay in Rome at a very central and convenient location, in a hotel that checks off all the boxes, then stay at the Damaso. Cost. But then it’s Rome.

An exceptional hotel in a historic building. The hotel is in a perfect location, with many famous attractions and museums easily accessible on foot. The hotel’s terrace is wonderful, with a beautiful panoramic view and a cocktail bar. The breakfast is exceptionally good. The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. Air conditioning is available. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and equipped with a minibar. A wonderful place to stay if you’re planning to visit Rome. And if I ever have another chance to visit Rome, I’ll definitely try to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended!
