The only comment we have for improvement was about communication, especially around check-out and luggage storage. This site offered free luggage storage after check-out, which was at 10am. We arrived at the front desk at 10 to turn in our keys and drop our bags but no one was there. I waited for a few minutes outside their locked office and messaged them through Whatsapp, and without a response I had to backtrack to our room in another part of the building to leave the keys there. I sent a picture to their Whatsapp number to show them where I left the keys. About 15 minutes later I got a message saying the receptionist was at another site, but that I could come back and leave my bags if I wanted. We had already left and didn’t want to backtrack again, but I also felt too nervous that someone would not be available to let us into the building to get our bags later, especially as we had a flight to catch. I think being available during check-out should be a priority.

While this was a standard hotel room with facilities that were basic but good (comfortable bed, desk and wardrobe, and attached bathroom), the location made it worth booking. Less than a 10 minute walk to Termini station, and with other bus stops even closer, it was incredibly convenient to get anywhere in Rome for a good price. Bonus points for a very good air conditioning unit that made the August heat bearable. The location is great - near the rail and buss station. And also near the city center. The staff are very helpful. They stored our luggage at the last day of our stay in Rome so we had the possibility to visit some more sights. Also, the stuff answered all of our questions.

The location was perfect. It is especially good if you are arriving and leaving by train. The building is near many beautiful and historic landmarks. There are also many nice restaurants very nearby. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and knew that there would be no reception. However, the property wouldn’t provide the entry instructions via the normal Booking.com message tool. Instead, they required the information to go through a 3rd party app, an account on their website, WhatsApp, or email. We didn’t want to set up a separate app, or provide our WhatsApp number, so we opted to manage our contact through email (not ideal). It took many emails back and forth to get information on how to enter the building. I wish the property would have used the Booking.com tools, as that would have been simpler and easier.

The location is right next to the main metro station and many bus stations. The room had a nice view, good lighting, was clean and kept clean by staff, also the bathroom was great.

The room was clean and perfect for two people. What I liked most was the excellent location—close to Piazza della Repubblica and Roma Termini, and only about a 20-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain.
