Located within the North York Moors National Park, the Grosvenor Hotel features free Wi-Fi and a bar with an extensive food menu. Robin Hood’s Bay Beach is just 5 minutes’ walk from this purpose-built hotel. The rooms at the Grosvenor Hotel feature a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms have a hairdryer. In the mornings, guests can enjoy full English breakfast. Featuring a log burning stove, the family friendly bar is often host to live music in the evenings. It serves traditional meals and offers a wide selection of wine and beer. Dishes are prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Robin Hood’s Bay is surrounded by moorland, fields, and oceans. There are many scenic coastal walking routes in the area. The Grosvenor Hotel is just 5 miles from Whitby and a 30-minute drive from Scarborough. Unfortunately we do not have an onsite car park, there is a pay and display public car park opposite the property with the price of £7 for 24 hours. There is also on street parking free of charge and no permit required. Car park free November to March.

Great location and property to end our Coast to Coast walk. Management took the time to phone 6 or 7 taxi drivers to arrange our transportation from the hotel to the Whitby train station. Excellent customer service!!! NA

Dinner in the pub was excellent, breakfast also very good. Location at the top of hill is convenient. Steps from the bus stop. 2 min walk to the old village. Stayed as a solo female, very safe. Nothing, great value.

Fantastic breakfast and lovely meal in the restaurant. Good size portions and good quality. Comfortable bed. Would have given it full marks but for the noise the pipes made every time the water was running. Also, the thermostat on the radiator was a bit dodgy. It was either scorching hot or nothing at all. Even with these couple of things the experience was lovely

We have stayed here previously, the check in is seamless, friendly, the location of the hotel is good and the room was lovely, just what we expected, clean, compact, tea/coffee, toiletries, a view...Breakfast was yummy and a friendly service.. There wasn't anything to dislike, other than there is no onsite parking however we knew this and it clearly states on the website therefore it wasn't an issue, there is plenty of parking in and around robinhoods bay..

Had an overnight stay. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Service first class. Will rebook for longer stay.

Room was above the bar/kitchen and had some noise from the music leaking through, and we couldn’t open the window because of the reek of deep fryer oil coming in
