Villa Del Mare

Lovely comfortable large room, large comfy double bed, not noisy, clean and multiple soft towels, usual toiletries and a fridge. Close to train station, main town and beaches although a bit of a walk to the public beach it's not a problem. No tea/coffee making facilities but is close to cafes etc so not a big deal

Proximity to the train/bus station (walking distance not more than 15 minutes), 2 min to the beach. Clean hotel, breakfast was nice (7€ a person) with eggs, ham, cheese, tea, coffee. An unpleasant smell in the room either from the old furniture or mold somewhere. We solved by opening the balcony door for the fresh air.

2 stars, one for location and another one for the gentleman who at least tried to help us with heating and offered us free coffee due to the lack of coffee maker which was mentioned in the list pf facilities We booked a studio for 5 nights with an average price of 150 euro/night end of December, no breakfast. The review below is for Studio 102. Our card was charged before arrival for the amount excluding city tax, no documents or receipts were ever provided. The first thing we notice when entered the room is ice cold air blasting from the heating, broken kitchenette with no coffee maker. We went immediately to the reception and asked to do a change, we were offered another room but the smell of nicotine was extremely strong there, receptionist pretended that she can't smell it, because "it is illegal to smoke in the room" so we were back to 102. No meaningful comments about heating, but what we understood the hotel just reopened and we need to wait for room to get heated, oh boy we were so wrong. After some walk we were back to the room, cold air was still coming, it was extremely cold. The heater in the bathroom was also ice cold. Luckily I had an idea to turn off and on the heating system and it helped to get some warm air. But didn't warm up the room through night. The next morning, I went to complain to the reception about cold heater in the bathroom, that was the only time we got the actual help and since then the heater were functioning in the room, that was the reason we actually stayed and didn't leave. During day time the Sun finally warmed up the room as well. Toilet flush got broken on the 3rd day of our stay, they promised to fix it but never happened, to be fair that was January 1st, but just don't promise maybe. On the departure we paid city tax in cash, no receipt again. It was really unnecessary to ask us if everything was alright . No compensation was offered either. But that was not the end, after several days the property reported to Booking.com that they were not able to charge our credit card, that caused the auto-cancelation to prevent us from leaving a review.

The room was clean. Comfortable bed/mattress. Very nice room. Friendly staff. Disgusting coffee at breakfast. Coffee from machine with milk powder. Does not look good in Italy where really good coffee is cheap.

Very clean and in a good location. The room was very tidy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast might be slightly better - especially coffee. Everything else is fine.

Nice location, good looking, private parking. There are different types of rooms and equipment, better specify beforehand what room can be rented. The room we were offered was on the ground floor with hence view… Fortunately, the nice lady at the reception could find another option for us.

The villa was close to the sea and to the area of interest of the town. The breakfast was poor and the number of parking spaces was really limited.

Well located and the gentleman running the hotel was extremely helpful and kind. Toilet too close to shower but would still stay there again.

Great location near the beach, with safe parking in front of the hotel. The room was very clean. Reception staff is very kind. Really good choice considering quality/price ratio.

Great location - 3 or 4 minutes from sea front, and 15 - 20 minutes pleasant walk through a park to the station and the beginning of the Old Town.
