Breakfast was quite good, but selection didn't change during our 3 mornings. Hotel is in a shopping centre, which was good for convenience shopping at a large Woolworths (100m away), and a few restaurants. Free parking within the shopping centre very close to lobby (register car reg# at desk, since car park is patrolled to minimize over- stay parkers...good). "Five Mile" suburb is away from the parking/traffic congestion and noise of downtown Queenstown, only one mile from airport (no plane noise), and easy to immediately get into nearby rural area for wine tasting or adventure sports. No criticisms.

Bed was comfortable, as per all Sudima hotels. Location was good, though driving back to it from the main town always meets with heavy traffic. Blankets has multiple covering layers and they are not placed together, i.e. it is one layer of covering, then blanket layer, then covering layer. The covering layer does not wrap around the blanket layer, so it's like 3 layers of "blanket" instead of one big blanket.

Clean, close to restaurant, stores. Good manager. Had problems with weekend staff.,it seems wierd at first to stay in a shopping center but it just works! Hotel staff not reporting problem with my room earlier. messing up order twice.

Dangerous being able to see Kmart from the window... Convenient for shopping. We called in advance to advise we were bringing an extra child, to request a cot and check this was ok. The message was not passed on - so when we go there we had to get approval from management to make sure we were not exceeding maximum occupancy. Was a lot of unnecessary trouble.

Not really a breakfast eater, only had one. Everything was there , If the weather goes bad, then it is crucial to have this available . But all the bases are covered within a couple of minutes walk. The bacon was a bit less cooked than I like, but okay, the baked beans light on taste .

It is just convenient to get to basic ementies downstairs as kmart, Woolworth, and warehouse being close by. Was average cleanliness, shower know would fall off everytime you touch, door less shower which makes mess even requested prior to have room with shower rather bath to avoid mess then what's the point to giving room with shower but no door. We stayed with Sudima at other locations, and they were pretty good comparison to this one.
