The incredible lake and mountains view, cleanliness of the entire apartment and love how they have filtered drinking water system installed in the kitchen. Love the fireplace in the living room. And the balconies!! The TV being on the side of the living room. We do love the fireplace though. We just had a little hard time memorizing the in room dinning menu when calling from the other side of the room to place the order.

the room was clean and comfortable, view was not what i expected small balcony. Free parking was a bonus.

Jacob. The Concierge was the best part of our experience. He went out of the way to make every minute of our stay enjoyable. Nothing stopped him from going all out with our travel experiences and the tiniest of comforts that excelled despite my concierge experiences at The Four Seasons and The Ritz Carltons around the world. He was the true Brand Ambassador for The Rees Hotel.

Improve breakfast by having fresh crunchy croissants and larger more diverse fruits

    Nice location Overpriced

Nice room Far from the city center and kind of a labyrinth to get to your room

We were exhausted from traveling and requested both an early check-in and to change a dinner reservation to in-room dining. There was no discussion and only accommodation. Outstanding and beautiful. Nothing

Great View The “wine bar” was nothing more than a couple of couches in the lobby. The dinning room was couple of hotel rooms connected together

Adequate room size. Shuttle provided to town. Up to date furnishings The staff confused our bill and tour with another family when we registered. The same thing happened when we checked out billing us more than we should have. We needed to get a manager both times and was assured it was straightened out both time. This was time consuming.

The value for the money was not good. For the amount of money charged the facilities in the hotel were average.

Fantastic help and personal trip to vineyards with concierge Jacob

Location and views were amazing The gym could have been better for the level of this hotel. It was small and no windows

The rooms are spacious, very well furnished and presented having a beautiful outlook over lake away from town centre - so it is peaceful and quiet. Great sized rooms with a classic fit out and a great bathroom. Parking was plentiful and the shuttle makes access to the town easy. We were put in a room next to the kitchen on the first night and were woken early the next day by the clatter from the kitchen. The hotel manager on duty kindly moved us to another room so we did not suffer the same experience again. Whilst the rooms are great the classic decor is starting to feel a little dated. That said it was very clean, comfortable and well presented with a great bathroom. Had a meal in the Bordeau Bar first night the quality of which was ordinary. Went to have breakfast on the first morning but found the dining room a little chaotic - too small for the number of people seated. So we chose not to eat in the hotel again. Overall given the lack of space in the Bordeau Bar and the dining room I thought it was a little overpriced.

The view, room and location were excellent. The service at the bar/restaurant was poor, but I'd stay at the Rees again in a heartbeat.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The three bedroom with a lake view was stunning. The unit was clean and if looked like a high end unit. Loved the fireplace and the beautiful deck. We loved everything.

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

the view and the room was exceptional

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

Definitely not a luxury hotel in terms of hospitality and/ or facilities. The staff was lacking in personality and approachability, and the facilites were tremendously lacking in terms of claiming "luxury" ...if you frequent luxury hotels this is not to the standard.
