Location is great I am extremely disappointed with the condition of this room. It was not cleaned properly at all. Most disturbingly, the bed linens had clearly not been replaced—there were visible blood stains and other unsightly stains on the sheets and pillowcases. This falls far below basic hygiene standards and is completely unacceptable for accommodation.

Parking was not enough

Room was great, all we needed which was important. Parking was a bit tight and sketchy, and half the toilets and showers werent open which made it tricky at times.

I loved the backpacker experience, and the central location. The host allowed me to park in front of garages. Young people sleeping on the couch in the kithen, and birds on the table... LOVE IT

The location is just a short walk to the city centre with a good parking for a first come first serve basis. Not the property, hope people are more considerat with keeping the noise down.

The accommodation was walkable distance to the Ben Lomond Hike

Not bad for inexpensive accommodation, but there could be more bathrooms and showers. The whole place is a little rundown feeling.

the room smells, not all the plugs work so we had to fight to charge, shower and toilet were extremely small and uncomfortable, the mattress felt old and uncomfortable to sleep on, my pillow was so flat

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the internet connection was reliable, which I really appreciated. My room had no view at all, it was quite cold, and the WC wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Overall an average stay! Not bad

- People were having loud party at shared kitchen till 12 at night and then came back at 6 at the morning and woke us up again being loud - Kitchen was dirty. Bottles and can from alcohol everywhere, dirty dishes, food leftovers and fruit peels at the floor. There were people sleeping in the kitchen at the morning. Not sure of they had a room or just stayed at the kitchen - First shower had no hot water even after 5 minutes of running the water, the second shower had no light. Probably the light bulb need to be replaced. - Room was pretty run down with stains and marks all over the walls

Awesome place full of character and charm. So happy to find a spot with personality amongst Queenstown's many new, expenisve, cookie cutter accommdations. Fantastic location and value. Rooms were warm and cosy and bed was comfy. No issue with noise. Shared bathrooms were totally adequate for the price. Beds need a top sheet as I don't think the duvet covers are washed between every stay (understandable as replacing these would be time consuming for the cleaning staff). Just add top sheets to the bed and it'll be perfect!
