The bed, views

Booked for two nights, but after checking in, I discovered that the room had no windows or views - despite this being clearly advertised on Booking.com. This was extremely misleading and disappointing. Because of this, I had to scramble late in the evening to find alternative accommodation, which completely ruined the experience. To make matters worse, no refund was offered and I was forced to book another place at a much higher last-minute price. Overall, the situation felt deceptive, and I genuinely felt misled into booking under false pretenses. I strongly urge others to be cautious before booking here.

Location was very close to downtown and gondola. Very clean and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a family feel....not chain hotel. Very nice. Thin walls...no soundproofing. We could sometimes hear people in other rooms and people coming and going. Very quiet over night....street noise non issue.

Everything was good

Location excellent

The location was perfect. The room had everything we required with a large bathroom. The staff were perfect! Maybe the offer of a few more breakfast treats, but there was a place close by that was excellent.

Location They advertise the room as a "studio" i.e. small apartment. And they also state all their rooms have kitchenettes. But they don't. They have a tiny fridge on the floor with a plastic tray on top of which there was a kettle that can't be filled in the bathroom because the faucet and sink are too small. We called the manager on the phone when we checked in (no staff on premises after 4pm) and they said that the tiny fridge on the floor (that ita door was open when we came so it wasn't even cool) and the kettle are the "kitchenette" and "studio" is the name that Booking.com had suggeated for the room. There is a gueat kitchen which is small, not equipped and has no sitting area. The accommodation states they have AC but thr room doesn' t niether does the small guest kitchen. So where can we enjoy this hidden AC? The room was very expensive and disappointing. We definitely do not recommend booking thia place. We feel duped and mislead.

Great location, comfortable, easy to access rooms. Very expensive for what it is, but that is Queenstown.

Location Having to pay for parking but we were offered parking outside the building which was very much appreciated.

Located within easy walk to the Wharf and town center. Comfortable and clean. Shared kitchen for that late night snack Nice place to stay. All was good

Lauren, the hostess, was so kind, friendly and helpful with great recommendations! Location was excellent— walking distance of the gondola, kiwi encounter, lake, great restaurants. Very quiet.

This is my third trip to Queenstown, and I can say that I've now found the place I will stay every time I come back!! There's a few things that are really important to me & my partner - bed and water pressure. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the water pressure was amazing! Many, many thoughtful touches such as the heater being left on for your arrival, and a towel rack heater as well as a full sized hairdryer, a guest kitchen for your convenience, a guest laundry on site (where you can also grab extra towels, tea or coffee as you need) AND a ski gear drying room! This motel is also like a 2 min walk from the centre of town, and the staff are absolutely lovely. Not to mention that we didn't book a room with a view, and still got to see the mountains from our bed (best sunrises ever). Literally the only thing I could say, is that having a pen in the room would be great

Location was great. Staff on arrival was friendly and helpful - offered to make up my room early so I could put my things in the room before noon. Room felt fresh and clean. Heat pump worked well and kept the room toasty. There were plenty of electrical sockets for charging my electronics. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and bandwidth was fast enough. I liked how there was a laundry for guests and that I could take extra towels from there if required, although I didn't need to during my stay as there were more than enough in the room. I travelled for a 2-day conference and found there were in my room more than sufficient hangars for all of my shirts, jumpers and trousers. My room faced a small courtyard outside where other guests were smoking/vaping, and they could look straight into my room through the large window, so I had to keep the blinds closed. My room was serviced when I was out in town during the day, and when I returned to my room in the evening, I found the door to my room ajar - this posed a significant security risk where items could have been stolen, although luckily it appeared nothing was missing. Presumably a staff member didn't pull the door fully closed; I noticed that you had to pull the handle fairly firmly to get the door latch to click into place. I found the mattress a little too soft side, although this is a personal preference. I also found it quite easy to hear guests speaking from the next room through the wall.

The location is great, walking distance to all the shop’s & restaurants. 1. When we checked in, we noticed a fishy smell, opened the windows to air out but no help. We realized the smell came from the refrigerator, a boiled seafood or lobster smell. We left a message for the front desk to request to have them spray something to get rid of the smell the next day. When we came back from our day trip tour the smell was still there. We suffered from smelling it for 2 nights. We notified the front desk again when we checked out, she claimed she didn’t get any messages from us. Not worth the US$350/night that we paid (2 nights of US$700 in total). 2. They sent 2 to 4 messages a day (we must have received over 10 messages within 3 days span) for the same thing. Once we got the car rental, we notified them with the license plate number for the parking situation, but they kept asking for the same the issue. Therefore, they don’t read their messages or check their voicemail. 3. There was a rim of light yellowish inside and around the toilet top edge. 4. The heater that was installed in bathroom only blew cold air.

The location was excellent. Close to all amenities but quiet. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The room was a tad damp but didn’t have an adverse impact on our stay overall.

The roof of the car park across the street needs to be beautified.

Perfect location in Queenstown - walking distance to all of the restaurants, bars, shops, and the gondola. Room was super comfortable and looked recently renovated with modern furnishings. Friendly staff.

The location is ideal. It is very close to the gondola and also the stairs that take you to the center of the town. The unit had a kitchen which was also wonderful.
