Hotel Residence Tabor

​Absolute nightmare — zero stars if I could. This wasn’t just a bad stay; it was a biohazard. Mould has completely taken over the property — it’s on the bathroom walls, framing the windows, and literally inside the microwave. We were moved, only to find out EVERY single room is rotting with the same toxic infestation. To top it all off, the ground floor hallway reeks of a rotting garbage dump that hits you the second you walk in. ​As if that weren't enough, the breakfast was an absolute joke — completely inedible, stale, and the single worst excuse for a meal I have ever been served. ​The ONLY good thing about this place is the girl at the reception. But honestly, she deserves so much better than working in this dump — she should find a new job ASAP. ​Staying here is an absolute health hazard, both physically and mentally. This place shouldn't be open to the public — it needs to be shut down by health inspectors immediately. Do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY unless you want to inhale toxic spores. PS Should I say about insects and 0% soundproof? ? Check photos ? Hopefully I survived but this 1 night stay took 10 years of my mental and physical health ?

Very comfortable and the perfect size for one person. Excellent location right next to a tram line that will take straight through the city center. The neighborhood is also lovely with a lot of great food nearby. Very friendly staff.

The bathroom had some tiny bugs because of the lack of ventilation, it was always moist. This is something the cleaning lady couldn't have done anything about it. It was more about the arhitecture of the building. Unpleasant in any case. I am a small person so I didn't mind the tiny space for showering but I think it was minuscule. Couldn't bend over in it to wash my feet... only stand straight. the breakfast was bad. The ladies in the kitchen did their best with what they had. They were very nice and spoke kindly but the food was maybe too specific for skme tastes. I couldn't eat anything except soup and cereals. The meat was not to my taste. Didn't seem to mind everyone but since I paid for it, I expected more variety.

Unfortunately the room that we booked was located in another building outside of the main hotel building. we could reach our room using stairs from 4th to 5th floor. the most disappointing point was the presence of a cleaning lady on the fifth floor who was loud and disturbing and made us so uncomfortable on the last night of our stay.

Everything was great. Great location, friendly staff, had everything what we wanted.

The bed mattress was quite stiff

The location is excellent—if you enjoy walking, you can reach all the main hotspots on foot. The room was small but sufficient for the night. Breakfast offered a variety of food, and the options were great. The only downside was that the room’s air felt a bit stale.

fair value for price, super kind staff, decent breakfast

The room was clean and quiet; the bed was large and comfortable as well. A large, high quality breakfast is offered with rotating dishes. There’s also a good grocery store just down the street. There’s not much to complain about here, the coffee at breakfast isn’t great but even then, it’s a very nice stay.

Great location, only two tram stops from the city center. The staff are very friendly and breakfast offers a wide variety of food to suit all tastes.

Transport was all day and night We had a kettle but no tea bags/milk/coffee like most hotels. No English tv channels or Netflix for any raining days and although we had a fridge you couldn't really use it as the electric was put on by the same key you need to open your door with. I was originally checked in from the 2nd to the 5th which was Tuesday to Friday but due to my flight being cancelled and another not being available until the 6th I had to pay double the original price which makes no sense to me because I wasnt getting any extras it was just the same room for a few extra hours as we checked out around 12.30am due to our early hour flight
