There are hotels you stay in, and then there are hotels that quietly redefine what comfort, service, and atmosphere should feel like. Occidental Praha belongs firmly in the second category. From the moment you arrive, there’s a sense that everything has been thoughtfully designed—not just to impress, but to genuinely make your stay effortless. The check-in is smooth, the staff are not just polite but sincerely attentive, and there’s an understated professionalism that immediately puts you at ease. The rooms strike that rare balance between modern elegance and real comfort. Spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you actually need (not just what looks good in photos), they become a space you look forward to returning to after a long day. The beds are exceptional, the lighting is well-considered, and even the smallest details feel intentional. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the consistency. Housekeeping is reliable, the atmosphere remains calm and refined, and the entire hotel operates with a level of quiet efficiency that many higher-end properties fail to achieve. Breakfast offers a generous and satisfying selection, and the overall dining experience reflects the same attention to quality. While it’s not located in the bustling heart of the city, this turns out to be an advantage rather than a drawback. You get a peaceful environment away from the crowds, yet you’re still well-connected—making it easy to explore Prague and then retreat to somewhere that actually feels relaxing. Occidental Praha doesn’t try too hard to be trendy or extravagant—and that’s exactly why it stands out. It delivers where it matters: comfort, cleanliness, service, and reliability. In a world where many hotels overpromise and underdeliver, this one does the opposite. If you value a stay that feels smooth, restful, and genuinely well-managed, Occidental Praha is not just a good choice—it’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to. I don’t have any complaints.

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms
-
The room was clean. The bed was very comfy. The heater worked very well. We slept very well there. The room was a little small. We traveled with two small suitcases and one backpack and it already felt quite cluttered.

I liked everything.

The Hotel is nice and modern Breakfast times are generally to 10:00 and only on Sunday to 10:30, which is good for a Business hotel, but for people staying for holiday 10:30 every day would be better. At check-in was charged without question in CZK, even if Booking was explicit in EUR, which means someone earns on exchange rate ;-)

Only 35m2 rooms and above are decent enough to stay in. There is no complementary bottle after arrival tho. The breakfasts are fine. But you will be searching for coffee shop on third day of your stay. You will splash yourself with cold water in shower, I can guarantee that.

Check-in and check-out were carried out quickly and efficiently. The room was exactly like on pictures, clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, with heavy curtains that were perfect for sleeping-in. It was an 8-minute walk to the nearest metro station. Instead of a shower, there could have been a bath

Not many places to get food in the immediate facility. Food closes at 10 P.M.
-
Noise from other guests on front of my room every day
-
Not only pushing is not included (20 euros per night), but also it is so far. Parking is somewhere else about 5 min far by walking

Located not in the center but close to metro station. Getting to and from the center is easy. Overall interior is good. Breakfast is reach, beds are comfy, AC works fine. Wifi in the room. Toilet, with sliding glass door and motion sensor, which cuts off the light every 30 seconds- very annoying. The bath in the room (if there is one- some rooms have showers) placed in the way, that you can easily fall getting in or out of it. Some loud clicking sounds from the TV while watching, and also some time, after you turned it off. The deposit thing - about a week before arrival hotel has reserved some deposit at the credit card, although I had free cancellation option. Returned it only on the second day of stay, after my reminder. Maybe it is normal practice in Prague, but i travel a lot and had this deposit thing for the first time.

Good value for money

As a family we got connecting rooms that was very nice, the bar at the lobby serves a very good food which is convenient as there are no restaurants around. A lot of free parking places around. Breakfast was ok, nothing very fancy, but we were very much disappointed with the gym facilities - there is nothing, not even a single weight ! The hotel is a 30 min walk from the metro station..

I liked the room that was tidy and had a good view I didn't like that although that I paid for my pet, they didn't allow me to stay with in the restaurant. In all restaurants I was, nobody never refused my entrance to restaurants. Also, I didn't like that they tried to expelled us from bar too although the previous days of my stays they allowed us with the pet. Just no communication between of employees. Also, I didn't like the way they treated us because perhaps the have too many groups and they thought that we belong on some of them or they tried to give priority to groups than us.

Modern feel Good powerful shower Had to wait long time to check in (1 hour) as night manager was occupied with another customer. Had a conference in the morning so didn’t manage to get much sleep as only checked in at approximately 2am Got a bottle of water on the first day but every other day no water provided. If I had just booked another room each day I would have received a bottle so do not like this cost saving strategy by the hotel. Staff not very friendly or helpful
