What can I say that I haven’t already the senses is our favourite in playa. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the staff goes over and above to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast has many options and most of all great location on 5th ave. Yes it can get slightly noisy from the street but that’s 5th ave it’s a busy street you got to expect some noise.

What breakfast? Location is best part Repair requests to shower were not responded to. Maid service was only available for a very brief time during the day and could not accommodate times outside this window. Front desk staff screaming at you from 1 floor below. Construction taking place on roof top during the day that caused noise in the rooms all day. Staff was indifferent and provided no notification.

The room was clean, smelled nice, and the bed was huge and comfortable. The bathtub was amazing, we do love that, loved the double sink and double shower. The staff was always friendly. The location is good, and you have everything close. For a couple is a 10/10 to be honest. Sometimes they didn't have towels for the beach (yes, they have those at the reception). Everything else was amazing.

We have stayed here before and keep coming back

5th Ave I don’t like that you have to pay taxes when you leave when you just pay all that money in US dollars to stay there and they tell you oh you still owe more money

Great location, small boutique hotel but large rooms, views of 5th ave available. Clean well maintained hotel, good breakfast offered daily for extra. Staff are great, can speak English, easy to talk to, all staff go over and beyond to make your stay great. We will be back in February 2026

Clean hotel, adult only very intimate only 22 rooms, breakfast is excellent with several options. Staff are very kind and helpful Love the location close to good restaurants and an Oxxo store. We’ve stayed here 3 times and will be back again in February 2026

The staff are all phenomenal! They’re so kind and helpful, eager to help to ensure your stay is comfortable. The location of hotel is close to restaurants noise is minimal, your right on 5th avenue you have to expect some noise.

Location is awesome, service by all staff is great. New breakfast menu is very tasty and plentiful. We’ve been here before and keep returning, sweet hotel, small but nice and well maintained

No hot water

The hotel was clean and bed comfy. It was in a good location. The shower had hot water but you had to let it run for a couple minutes. No ice in machine is my only complaint

Excellent location. They offer breakfast now 5 options. Food and service was excellent! All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We spent two years in a row at this hotel and definitely be back next year for longer. The hotel is small, quite very well maintained. The room we had was spacious, and always clean. The hotel has to be proud of their staff and services they provide. Liked everything

Central location, it is really easy to reach the beaches and explore the many great restaurants in the area. The included breakfast, though simple and minimal, gets the job done. The bed was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness overall was good, which added to a pleasant stay. This hotel might not be ideal for light sleepers, as its location on the main street means there’s a lot of nighttime noise (though it didn’t bother us). The property feels a bit dated, with certain details in need of updating or modernization. The reception experience was underwhelming—staff were polite but distant, offering minimal explanations of the services. We only discovered on our last evening that there were bicycles available for guests. Communication was also a challenge, as the staff didn’t seem fluent in languages other than Spanish. Additional improvements could include softer bedside lighting, as the current setup felt too harsh. We also noticed stains on the towels, something one wouldn’t expect from a 4-star establishment. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was completely unusable on the third floor, forcing us to rely on mobile data throughout our stay. While our experience had its highlights, a few adjustments could significantly elevate the guest experience.
