Sandy Feet Beach Resort

It was really nice to have a pool essentially out our front door with a decent food and drink option attached The sargassum and smell was not great but not the properties fault.

The location was amazing! Right in the beautiful beach! The room was great. Clean and comfortable beds. The restaurant and coffee shop were perfect. The pizza is a must!

Location was stellar, room was nicely appointed, everyone we met was nice. We were a group of 3 visiting at a slow time, and generally enjoyed our time in Placencia. This hotel is close to souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops. We had issues with the hot water heater, it went out twice. Our expectation for the cost was that we would be able to take hot showers every night but we were only able to two of the four nights we stayed at Sandy Feet, which is a bit of a bummer on an outdoorsy vacation where we're active in the sand and sea daily. The host Britany was the main person we spoke to, she was moderately responsive on Whatsapp, but the office was hardly open during the stated office hours, so we almost exclusively communicated via Whatsapp. One day we wanted to take the kayaks out early and we asked the day before, she said they would be on the beach with paddles but seemed to have forgotten, the restaurant owner next door found the paddles for us and Nelson came out to help about 45 minutes after we had planned to kayak, just as we were getting the boats that we thought were Sandy Feet's rinsed off to go out.

No TV and upper flat

The location was great, the room was big, the bed comfortable, there was a balcony. The facilities are a bit worn out and a few things should be repaired, especially in the bathroom.

The air-conditioner didn't work very well.

We spent 3 weeks travelling throughout Belize so it was a wonderful relaxing end to our trip, seeing the sunrise over the sea and stepping out into the sandy beach

Room had high ceilings so felt large and roomy. Beautiful views from our deck. Good amenities, excellent location and views.

The room we occupied on the ground floor of a small house was located above another room, and the ceiling was not soundproof; it was parquet flooring with a plaster ceiling. The slightest movement from the occupants above created a terrible noise! ​​Furthermore, a noisy electric pump started every time we or the occupants above opened a faucet or flushed the toilet! Unbearable! Housekeeping was not scheduled, and we had to request it. The housekeeper was incompetent and her work was very poor! The worst part is that we received a $200 USD fine for throwing cigarette butts in the bathroom trash can. We smoked these cigarettes on our terrace and on the beach, making sure to bring them back so as not to pollute the hotel area! This is unacceptable, and we have informed Booking.com. The hotel debited the money directly from our bank account without even sending us a message! We contacted the hotel twice with detailed explanations, but we never received a refund, not even a partial one! Under the pretext of the hotel's smoking regulations, this is actually a customer scam!

The management Britney and her staff behaved unethically, overcharging us , asking to vacate a property or pay extra, using crooked techniques, manipulating situation and making rude and inappropriate comments " like I have dimencia" and why my adult family stay in different room" is because they can not tolerate me. Awfully stressfully experience. Avoid this place. They . overuse their power, changing prices as they want and acting as rude bosses . Do not follow any hotel standards communicating with clients. I am a loyal booking customer and never had this horrible stressful experience and really want to return my money that they overcharged me on property 986 dollar. Should be legally prosecuted what they are doing over there. Managment Feel they can do what they want to be a relatives of the owner. Worst treatment and stress and feeling that I am dealing with crooks ! Only 2 words. Nevere cleaned the rooms as well.

Location. Convenience. The internet was terrible.

The location was terrific as it was a short walk to everything we needed: restaurants, groceries, guide companies, beaches, etc. having the Bohemian bar and restaurant right next to us was also super convenient. The room was clean and practical and very well designed and built. Whenever we needed anything, our messages were responded to quickly and our needs met. Bethany is so sweet and Nelson is a handyman and great resource. We are already planning a return trip to Sandy Feet next year! Not many places inside to to put clothing or small things away, and not enough places to hang items to dry, but these are very minor and fixable items to adjust.

Location!! Best view and steps from the beach. We loved access to the pool next door. The showers outside the rooms were handy to manage sand. We were right on the heart of the town. Steps to everything

Good location and I liked that it was near Bohemian Cafe, however the restaurant was closed for the season, only bar food was available and that gets tiresome. The tv system they have is idiotic. Complicated to watch anything -- they blamed it on internet/router... I want to turn the tv on and be able to watch something, not have to try and try for 20 minutes. Written instructions would be helpful. There was no bedside lamp so impossible to read at night. And 1st night I had an invasion of ants and it took 2 full days to get housekeeping to come sweep/mop. And no WIFI or internet most of the time.

Location, facility, pool, The Bohenian Restaurant. Bed could have been a little more comfortable...but wasn't horrible.

Sandy Feet was everything we were looking for nice clean room with small kitchen so we could keep drinks & food. The location was perfect on a beautiful beach had a pool bar & restaurant that had really good food and drinks. The staff at the resort and the Bohemian bar were awesome so friendly and helpful by the end of the week you new everybody by name and felt like long lost friends. Can't wait to come back. It would be nice if they would offer fresh towels, linens and toiletries during your stay. I had to ask office for fresh towels and toilet paper on the fourth day.
