Location

Proximity to the event we attended. Under renovation. The bedding needs updated. Always love Marriott accommodations, but they need to change out the mattress and pillows! Definitely wasn’t a decent night’s sleep for my wife or me! Wallpaper was peeling off the wall and chalking around the tub was dirty and needed replaced.

Breakfast was not good at all. Staff was friendly. Location was great

Close to everything. Hotel is in process of a lobby renovation so there was really no place for groups to gather.

Nothing. Hotel was so dirty and unsanitary. Unreal it cost 300$ Marriott should be ashamed to put their name on this hotel. It was disgusting. Anyone traveling with kids especially do not stay here. We left bright and early and only stayed because we got in so late and were all too tired to drive anywhere else with kids. Did not even stay the second night we booked.

The halls had piles of dirty linens laying on the floor along with bags of garbage. Breakfast was disappointing too. I stay at Marriotts all the time and am a Bonvoy Gold member. This property does not live up to Marriott standards in my opinion. Very disappointed

How close the stadiums were to the hotel!! Hotel didn't smell well and the rooms needs work. And a food was not good.paid to much...

Location Used to be our go to in Pittsburgh but it’s starting to feel very dated. There was a strong chemical/cleaning smell in the room and hallways that never went away! It had our eyes burning

Great location. Rooms are roomy,, comfortable. Breakfast was good. The biggest problem was our group had 6 rooms reserved. We called earlier and asked to have our rooms on same floor and that we would be arriving fairly late. Upon arrival two of our group were told their rooms had been canceled. We didn’t cancel. Hotel Blamed it on 3rd party booking but we were given conflicting messaging. not enough room here to describe the fallout but it was messy.

Great location and rooms, Continental breakfast No instructions on how to operate appliances in suite, very few utensils, ice make in freezer didn't work and no ice machines
-
The only downfall we had issues with pool was cold. And our room did not have hot water. It was lukewarm. And I talked to another person staying there and they said something about no hot water. Everything else was good. Got to check in early. And parking was great too.

Our king bedroom with pullout sofa room was awesome with full kitchen, included cutlery and utensils. We stayed for 6 days and had the continental breakfast every morning and used the guest laundry too twice. Very convenient location with prepaid self parking

The property is located very close to PNC Park and offered affordable parking per day. The staff was not responsive to our issues and the A/C was broken in one of our rooms for an entire day. It took multiple calls to staff over twelve hours to get it fixed, we had to sleep in 85 degrees one night because of it. One of our rooms was dirty, with broken closet doors, and the room door and bathroom door did not close without us having to shove them.
-
The worst hotel in the U.S. in which I have ever stayed. The hotel was absolutely filthy. And dangerous. People were trapped in the elevator, our room door wouldn't close without jamming it shut. The furniture was covered in grease or another film. We had to place towels on the seats. Parts of the floor were wet. The bathroom had mold in multiple places Doors were missing from the closets. There was a distinctly awful odor. I contacted Marriott days ago and have not heard back.

I feel like the breakfast wasn't what we thought it was going to be, could be because the breakfast area was under renovation, but it was not a "hot" breakfast at all.

This is an older hotel, but the location to downtown is excellent. There was some remodeling and updates going on at the front desk and entry area. The breakfast area was also being remodeled so we had breakfast in a temporary room (however, it worked great). The breakfast staff was amazing. Everything was filled and there was a good variety of breakfast items. The rooms were a little outdated, but like I mentioned earlier, this is an older hotel. I can there are updates being made. We were happy with the location and felt safe in the area. We would stay at the Residence Inn in Pittsburgh again if we were back visiting this area.

On the last night, the AC broke (I am guessing due to the construction). Hotel could do nothing for me because I booked through Expedia and not a real customer.” Before the last night, room was beautiful, I loved it.
