Blue Seal Inn

Booked this based of location in downtown Pismo while visiting family. Arrived and check in was lengthy. Out dated systems and the signature pad didn’t work. Had to come back the next day to sign. Room mostly clean, but extremely run down. No toilet paper holder, shower curtain rod kept falling down, holes in bathroom, huge patch on bathroom door, broken baseboards, lots of mold in the bathroom. No smoke detector and broken outlets. Which is a code issue. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Top it off, woke both nights at 2am to loud music from the neighboring room that went on until 6am. I don’t know how this place isn’t condemned given the condition of the room

Worse then motel 6

The place is located close to the beach as everything is within walking distance. The people that worked there were nice and helpful. The rooms has mismatched paint, people had their pets when they weren’t allowed and you could hear others. The blinds were missing slats which others walking by could see into your room. Not a lot of privacy.

Nice hotel for a one night stay

Room was dirty you could hear things crawling in the wall base boards pulling away from wall in bathroom no water in the pool. A/C did not work.DONT DO IT!!!!

Budget friendly and clean

The room was clean. All three beds were clean and well made. They provided clean towels and sheets. It was a good stay overall.

Facility is old and pretty worn. Ok for the price.

Not glamorous but it was comfortable

It was close to downtown Pismo walking distance and a nice little park right next to the hotel with a creek that ran through it. The property is old and needs work the pool was not functioning and the paint on the entire building is faded along with the roofs looking old and in need of repairs.

How they were questioning me about different names on the reservation and on my drivers license. Also, I had just been clean and it smelled like bleach through the whole room

Smelled like cat don’t know if it was the green plant that was in front of door & the bathtub had a ugly rust stain looked disgusting , no pool ?

Nothing The lady wasn’t on the property to give me the keys and offered the room but said I couldn’t have a key until 10pm. When I asked if I could go and come and have someone open the door the lady told me to take my business elsewhere. She turned me away and I still had to pay

It was nice and clean very quiet

I like that it was a short walk to the beach Pool empty, only got half a roll of toilet paper, no table to eat on.

Fabuloso smell, storage

Staff was rude only take cash if you have dog. Knocking on doors at 11am waking up people or rushing them. Room made our feet black
