No safe space to walk around the resort and no stairs. Not friendly for elderly or kids having to walk up and down hill sharing the path with golf carts especially after dark. Also waiters would up charge (asking for house water and they’d still try to bring bottled water, house coffe and being charged an americano or being charged 5$ USD for a slice of toast bread!)

Paradise. Beautiful wooded surroundings where you see deer, monkeys, and iguanas every day. Spacious, well appointed rooms with high ceilings and lots of windows while giving plenty of privacy. So much to do: snorkeling, free boat trips to nearby beaches, paddleboarding, jet skiing, rainforest hikes, kayaking, mountain biking, massages, on site spa,you name it. Delicious food three restaurants to pick from and all at your own pace with great staff to help with a golf cart at your door or just do your own thing at your own pace. Should have stayed more than 4 nights

Very expensive.

My experience at Andaz Pennisula was only made possible because of the wonderful, professional staff! Everyone staff member went out of their way to ensure our stay was amazing. Nothing
-
Resort facilities The amount of time it took to check in, secure the right rooms, have items delivered. Spent more time at reception than in the resort

The staff was wonderful. The privacy and beauty of Papagayo is unmatched.

The food was wonderful! The room was super clean and well appointed, and staff members were incredibly available and helpful. We enjoyed every second of our time here. The Andaz also offers easy access to the nearby Four Seasons and Ritz restaurants and properties, so it truly was the best of all worlds.

Sometimes the wait for golf carts were a little long

Beautiful location, amazing amenities, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, amazing drinks and food, and monkeys.
-
Kind and friendly staff Beautiful location Poor service Poorly treated by management who failed to address the bug issues in the villa Long waits for golf cart especially on the departure day which made travel an issue
-
Such attention to detail. It was so very pleasing to the senses. The staff seemed to carry pride for their place of employment. The decor was beautiful, especially the main lobby. The food was wonderful. No complaints

This is one of the most beautiful properties we’ve stayed in. It is like being in a treehouse! The room was amazing, the staff was so accommodating and kind, the facilities and grounds were gorgeous, the food was delicious. We especially enjoyed Chao Pescao and Meso. The complimentary shuttle which arrives every half hour at the lobby and offers rides to other hotels on the peninsula for dinners is so convenient. Even though the main beach area must be accessed by boat, it was never an issue because it was a super convenient and quick process. The boat goes back and forth about every 8-10 minutes throughout the day, so you are never waiting long. Bonus…the property provides towels and sunscreen and bug spray! We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay
-
Beautiful, very natural, very friendly and unpretentious Lots of steps since it’s on a hill, but golf cart were quick to pick you up if you didn’t want to walk
-
Lovely staff, great location, good food Chaotic breakfast service and poor service at Casa de playa beach
-
Excellent location, kind staff, great excursion options!

Amazing location, a lot of activities and beautiful rooms Staff was terrible for a place like this, don’t listen to the guest needs and disturbing our peace after they have been well instructed. Keep forgetting things, asking 1 day before we left already to pick up the luggage, forgot to pick us up from the airport, WiFi didn’t work in the room for 2 days etc etc
