Maison Gaité

The staff is amazing. Small pool was a hit with our kids, but you need to reserve a time with staff. Family room "apartment" was spacious and clean. Quiet location on a side street, but close to public transit options. Hotel wifi went out for one day and we had an issue with our shower faucet. Staff was extremely attentive to both and did their best to accommodate us.

Our Maison Gaîté apartment was well-appointed, clean, spacious, quiet — and cool during the heatwave. We only wish our stay there was longer! It was equipped with everything we needed as a family of four to have a great time in Paris. So comfortable! Plus the location was great, close to nice areas like rue Daguerre, the Edgar Quinet area and Cimitière Montparnasse. Great food nearby, and being close to the train station was a huge benefit. Mohamed and the team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Don’t underestimate the coffee machine in the lobby — its cappuccinos were much appreciated.

Great staff, great location, unique private pool experience, clean rooms, comfortable bed and good a/c. Can’t think of a downside to this affordable hotel in Paris. The was nothing we didn’t like. It’s was a perfect stay.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have a lovely experience. Hotel is very close to metro stations and Gare Montparnasse, which is why we stayed there. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Wish we could have stayed there longer. I also loved all your art!

Amazing location, nice and clean, pool was a bonus. Staff really friendly, shout out to Mo. No kettle or fridge in room.

Everything was excellent - friendly staff, reasonable price, excellent location, beautiful room. If I had to say something, there were some stains on the hallway jute flooring but it’s possible it had just happened and they had not had the time to clean yet.

The location was great. You can walk to all the main attractions in Paris, though you must be in shape. Pretty close to the Train Station and the Metro, restaurants and shopping. The room was very small, you could hardly have one suitcase let alone two. We managed. We knew that rooms in France can be small. Not to mention the elevator. Tiny. Staff was friendly and breakfast was the standard French one. room way too small for comfort

Our room was upgraded to a larger one (without asking for it). It was comfortable though still small, but for Europe it was a nice size. All worked properly, it was clean, A/C worked fine and breakfast was standard France. Cheese, cold cuts, bread, croissant, juice, coffee and fruit. The location was also great. With a little exercise you could walk to all the beautiful places Paris is known for. nothing

The towels were cloudy and white. The room was clean. My window was overlooking very busy bar. Because room was poorly ventilated so I had to open the windows, but the noise from the bar was extremely loud and lasted about 2-hours in the evening. I paid €200 per night for a 9-sqm which turned out to be a complete ripoff in my opinion. I could get better value hotel with better amenities. Also during the breakfast the staff asked only me for my room number to check whether I paid for my breakfast. I felt being singled out and maybe for being the only female POC in that room.

Elevator was broken first night and we had to carry bags up 5 flights The room was small for 3 people

Staff were very friendly and attentive. The location in the 14th was excellent. While a touch sparse, we enjoyed the breakfasts. The hotel proactively comped our breakfasts due to an outlet malfunctioning in our room. We stayed at the end of the historic May 2026 heat wave and the mini-split AC unit in our room was having issues (would work for a bit and then throw an error code). Our first night was very warm while our second night they provided us a fan which was most helpful. IF the AC in our room had been working properly, I would have nothing bad to say at all about our stay.

Super friendly staff, cute and tiny hotel in a great neighborhood full of bars and restaurants and close to the metro the breakfast was a bit limited, but i found some options.

Very cute room, though small. Bed was excellent, pillows excellent, shower excellent. Staff was very nice and welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very complete, croissants and coffee delicious. Many items to choose from. Room 21 - Sink didn't drain well. Heating control was very awkward. there was a permanent shelf directly over the radiator and only 2 or 3 inches space between it and the radiator. It was impossible to see the temperature control on top of the heater. A staff member came right away to show me so that was nice. however, even though I set the heat on full, the radiator only became barely warm and it was a cold day in Paris. Not a deal killer but I would have liked a little more heat.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The room was so clean it was like new.The area was charming and less touristy. Easy access to metro. Coffee and snacks were available all day.Bed was very comfy ! Nothing. If the size of the room is disappointing to you, then you are in the wrong country.The rooms are laid out to be efficient. We stayed in two different rooms.One slightly smaller than the other. They both had everything you would need.A desk,a walk-in shower,TV above bed for great viewing,a nespresso machine with pods replaced every day, an elevator.
