I liked how friengly and caring the staff was and the breakfast too N/A

The location was convenient for getting around Paris, and the hotel provided a practical base for our trip. Some members of staff were polite and helpful when approached. Unfortunately, these positives were heavily outweighed by the cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance and service issues we experienced during our stay. Cleanliness was extremely poor. Your child’s mattress had a visible blood/period-blood stain on it. When you first complained, you said it was simply sprayed with bleach, and you had to complain again the following morning. There was urine in the stairwells, which you found unhygienic and unacceptable. You saw mould, decay and deterioration around the outside of the building, making the hotel appear poorly maintained. You specifically asked for nobody to enter your room while you were out, but returned to find the beds had been made, meaning staff had entered despite your request. There was no fridge or kettle in the room, so you were reliant on the hotel for drinks. At around 2:30am, there was a sign at reception advertising drinks including coffee, but when you tried to order one you were told they were not available, despite the coffee machine appearing to be switched on and working. The sign didn't state any restricted serving hours. You were unhappy with the €152 parking charge for two days, particularly because you felt the parking costs had not been made sufficiently clear beforehand. You were also unhappy with the subsequent Booking.com reimbursement situation, after being told that if you paid the parking charge you would be reimbursed immediately and then finding that this wasn't happening immediately. When you complained about the blood on the bed, you were told that the property was “not a five-star hotel” and was three-star. You felt that was irrelevant because basic cleanliness and hygiene should be expected regardless of star rating.

We can't deny the fabulous staff working there! Professional, kind, helpful, smiling, real pleasure to see such lovely people, and all of them were perfect towards guests. The food was always fresh, plenty, even powdered scrambled eggs were tasty, and the coffee was delicious. We enjoyed an area that was relatively safe and very picturesque. Definitely this is a 2 ** standard, I am not sure why the hotel advertises as 3 ***. Rooms are very extremely narrow, no space at the entrance to remove and hide shoes, all very small and squeezed. The place needs renovation. Wholes and dirt on the wall, missing elements, extremely dirty window.

Disappointing

The location next to a very beautiful park ( better in reality than photos); walking to Moulin Rouge, not too long waiting time for the elevator, good cheese & fresh croissants/ baguette. Every day the room was cleaned. Big underground parking. Very easy access to the public transport ( tram and metro). The breakfast was not too appealing for the kids

The area The property was dirty and smelled. We changed rooms 3 times, the first because it smelled of damp, the second because the bed was broken and then the third, it still smelled, but of sewer pipes. We were so tired we took the room

It had 2 seperate rooms in 1 so ideal for a family. The entrance. Very difficult to find. Not directly on the street. Walking at night to take an outdoor elevator to get to the entrance was scary and super dirty.
