Older Hotel with small rooms but nicely renovated and very clean.

Location Bedbugs in bed Bathroom door doesn't close Curtains don't close Staff refused to address the problem or give us a refund

Staff are really friendly, really liked the, neighbourhood (unlike some previous guests), busy and unpretentious! Room really small but adequate for affordable one night stay. Soundproofing wasn't an issue for me and mate but someone complained about us chatting at very normal levels in the room! Had to ask for toilet paper on arrival and shower soap dispenser was empty. However, biggest complaint was the 'breakfast' served in the reception minus bread but including (wait for it) instant coffee sachets....a truly bewildering offering!! ?

wonderful room woth private bathroom, comfortable bed and had all we needed for two nights. the room did not have a mini fridge or safe which would have been helpful for storing food and valuables, but other than that nothing at all!

generally it is fine. 1. The wall is not sound proof as website steted (However, I have ear plugs). 2. Key hand out each time when going out (I think it needs to write clearly about this point on the website) 3. neighborhood is not very beautiful 4. stairs are too small

They should warn the guest about the stairs you have to climb to get there. It was spiral like and with no rest, we almost fell a few times while we were carrying our baggage. It may be a good choice for young couples or people going there for just on day and . The bathroom door doesn't close well.

The beds were memory foam and reasonably comfortable in the cool weather. The sheets and towels were clean. The bathroom was cleaned daily. On leaving, the staff offered to look after our suitcases for most of the day and were helpful in directing us on public transport (in French). Some English was spoken. The location was reasonable, being near the Metro and RER plus bus stops. Also at the end of the street is the lovely La Petit Cambodge Moquet restaurant. The shower curtain was doubled up so it couldn't cover the whole shower area and is likely to be a trap for damp, mould etc. It also had stains or water marks. The shower head holder needed tightening as it rotated too easily so was useless. There were no hanging hooks for wet towels or coats. The inner handle of the shower room sliding door was missing. The room was cramped for two with not much space to open a suitcase apart from on the bed. Although the sheets were clean, there were hints of stains on the quilts, The state of the decor was poor with many paint chips and splashes. The actual room was not featured in any of the photos. The state of the electrics was poor with one socket not screwed to the wooden panel it was fitted to. There was no socket near the desk and the bathroom light was not near the bathroom but 2m away by the door. There were no bedside lights although the main light had an additional switch next to the bed. Despite warnings of fines, there was a smell of smoke coming into the room in the morning. Getting heavy suitcases in and out was difficult due to the spiral staircase.

Very quiet place Too small room

Rooms were very small and cramped. The showers were also too small. I asked for room change and was moved to an even smaller room. The kitchen area was not well kept and there was no space for sitting to eat. No tea facilities and no study area (table and chair)
