I stayed at this hotel yesterday, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was in very poor cond

The location is great. It’s just a few metro stops from the center of paris. Very close to montmartre also, it’s very centric. The area also has lots of restaurants nearby, a grocery store. Metro stop is like 5 min walk At first everything seemed good. Check-in took literally 2 seconds. Room “seemed” clean at first. There is no elevator but I honestly didn’t mind. We were on a budget so I thought this was probably better than a shared bathroom. Our room was quiet. After night 2 I couldn’t handle the bathroom smell- it smells SO bad. After night 3 I was covered in insect bites head to toe - most likely bed bugs. By night 4 I literally couldn’t wait to leave this place. I literally threw away my jacket and suitcase after staying here.

I really didn’t understand why people gave that low score to this hotel because almost everything was perfect. The staff was incredible. They were so kind. The location was so good, the cleanliness was also good We faced a problem about an alarm. Because someone was smoking at 06.40 and 9.30 in the morning. It’s not okay. But It’s not hotel’s fault ofc. Also a little minus about an elevator. There was no:) But it was okay

We liked its location, the room was clean and regularly cleaned, room service was held everyday

Nothing satisfy my expectations except the friendly reception staffs who say "Bonjour" in the morning and "Bonsoir" in the evening. Our room is on 3rd floor. We need to climb up the narrow and steep stairs to reach and our room. Also, the facilities in the room are horrible. Firstly, the toilet door can't be closed because the door edge has decay and expanded. Also, the toilet keeps flashing sound around every minutes, we can't sleep well at night. Secondly, none of electric socket near the table which placed coffee machine and electric kettle. If you want to boil water for a cup of tea or make a coffee, you need to move that kettle or coffee machine near your bedside drawer to get these appliance to plug-in the electric socket. Thirdly, the Wi-Fi didn't work stable. The Wi-Fi suddenly failed at night and there were none of any reception staff on duty. The what's app number provided for asking help doesn't exist! If you have any inquiries or request, you will not find anyone to help, even simple request as replacing a broken hanger.

For everything it may have been the best value for everything it had. I have been to Paris over 20 times and this was the best value hotel I ever stayed in. Only concern was odor from bathroom but that may just be the buildings piping.

The property had been in good area and the bed was comfortable. The room was pretty cramped. The lights inside main bedroom did not work. And there was some obvious stains from previous customer that was not cleaned on the floor and it was very questionable about what kind of substance it actually was and you could hear the neighbor talking. I guess the wall was thin. The shower area was very small in the bathroom. Luckily I fit. I imagine other people a bit greater size would not fit.

Value for money ... Close to the metro and transportation is easier mo ... Staff were really helpful Not 100% clean but it was okay
