Great value. Basic, but comfortable, nothing extra, just what one needs on a trip busy with sightseeing. AC worked very well. Breakfast is very simple and limited, but cannot complain for the price, it served its purpose. Cleaning was done daily and properly. Bed was good and comfortable. The receptionists were very polite. It’s an old hotel, but it doesn’t smell at all, which was good. I spent 3 nights comfortably there during the hot summer. No complaints. The last night I noticed that the water faucet in the bathroom (room 32) was leaking. I guess things like that can happen anywhere.

Very near to everything our room was very spacious and comfortable We were on the ground floor right next to the reception and you could hear them in the middle of the night but it was not too bad

The location felt safe. I did not like getting put in a different hotel than what we booked

The garden in front The decoration was old
-
convenience. frendly. Lift is super petit. :) The cleaning needs to be thorough; there are some items left behind by previous guests.

Location The staff was awful to me. I told them right away that I could not breathe in that musty hot room. they clean the room was 16°, which was crazy because my last hotel was at 24 Celsius and I was fine and 16° is 60 Fahrenheit which means it would’ve been freezing in the room. They wouldn’t even come laughed at me and said good luck. When I said I couldn’t breathe. There was black mildew in the grout of the bathroom. It was old and run down the room. I prepaid and still had to walk away and Booking.com did nothing for me I called at 10:30 that night and still the guy wouldn’t even come up and check the room or offer to move this. It’s only when I walked out onto the street and was talking to the Booking.com lady that the lady finally said oh well, we could move your room and I’m like I would never even go back in that hotel now after you laughed at me when I couldn’t breathe I can’t emphasize enough how little Booking.com did for me or how much this hotel is awful

Well positioned close to Bastille metro station and lot of nice cafes, speciality coffee shops, artisanal ice cream, la Coulee Verte… The room was small

Room was warm, ac didn't work. Not ac season yet
-
There's construction outside the window, and it's impossible to sleep in the morning. There aren't enough eggs or greens for breakfast.

Great location for the opera. Easy to get into rest of Paris. Quiet. Overall was good. Breakfast was a bit sparse although the food was fresh

Weird sex mirrors in bedrooms. Smelled funny. Loud noises from bar next door

Staff Not clean

perfect location for me -- decent-sized room and bed -- good teas -- staff were helpful -- printed something for me and supplied extra teas and sugar i could barely squeeze into the chair at the desk, and the toilet backed up twice

Check in was effortless. Our room was ready and our stay was delightful the location allowed for accessing one of the best restaurants in all of Paris. The name is HuThoPi. A lovely way to finish out our two weeks in France.
