The location is great. The owner/manager was extremely rude. The room was superficially cleaned with for instance the personal waste of the previous guest in the bathroom waste bin. The other egregious things: 1/ There is airco but … you have to pay 50eur per night (in addition to a deposit) if you want to use it. 2/ It is mentioned in big letters that the hotel assumes no liability for luggage left with them after checkout. Giving the general louche character of the place, we looked for a left luggage place.

the room was comfortable and the air-conditioning was appreciated. The staff were very helpful. the bathroom was a bit cramped for room and dated. The lift is tiny.

Room where recently renovated No any assistance from the hotel staff at any level, heating was turned off and not usable, no warm water to even take a shower.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean with a nice shower and facilities.

Nothing much. Bed was ok, lift very small could barely fit my suitcase and myself in it. No heating, lukewarm water in bath/shower and no extras like a tea/coffee. No shampoo or shower gel. You get these in the most basic hotels. Ridiculous.

Large clean comfortable room with all the facilities you need, including a fridge. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bastille is a great area of Paris, with everything you need locally.

Friendly welcome, always staff at the door, within walking distance to gare de lyon train station, restaurants and cafe nearby Not sure what was included in breakfast, I didnt ask and was never offered but I found a great shop about a minute walk away taking a right out of the hotel, 3 euros for a pastry and coffee
