Location close to Paris Gare De Lyon with good transport links and a bus stop right outside the hotel That we booked a larger room and were put into a box room

We loved the location, it was a great area. Weird having to put the kettle on the floor to boil it, there was no fridge and no milk/lait for our tea and no tea or coffee. And weirdly no shower curtain.

Close to metro stations The room was not as pictured on Booking.com. I imagine there are some rooms more modern than others so maybe we were just unlucky with our allocated room. It was really run down, with paint chipped and mouldy tile grout. The white towels were stained and had other peoples hairs on them. Concerningly the following day we were given dark grey coloured towels, so I can only imagine what condition those are actually in.

The hotel is in an excellent location for using the Paris metro, and the area is quiet, even for walking around in the evening. The hotel itself has everything an average traveller needs, without any unnecessary frills. The room was indeed a bit small, but still perfectly liveable. We arrived late in the evening and were still able to find someone at reception for check-in, which we really appreciated. The downside was the bathroom, at least ours, which was very small and not very practical to use.

The room was perfect for me and the window, which could be opened looked onto the pretty street which was a treat. I had flown a long way and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well that night. The bathroom was spotless, always important. I was also able to drop my bags off early as I had arrived before room availability, which was much appreciated. Great access to cafes, fruit shops and delis as well as walking distance to many attractions. The 11th Arrondissement is a good one to stay in as it is central to other areas in Paris. The bonus was the lift. Just a small thing. The staff could've been more welcoming.

Location and staff Shower was extremely small and no complete door so water left shower also extremely slippy no plug in the sink toilet was very cramped

Clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants an easy walk away. The metro was just down the street and everything we needed was just outside the door. The shower was tiny but serviceable
