Hôtel Marais de Launay

AC wasn’t working and one of the staff members was rude.

Room was very small, but decent value for the price.

The location was near public transit and the neighborhood felt safe. The check-in desk being manned 24/7 was a godsend since my train arrival was delayed. The antiquated wall-mounted hair dryer created challenges for drying my hair. The hose came off completely at one point and the grip became so hot until I had to wrap it in a towel to finish drying my hair. In these days of limited luggage space and high checked bag fees, a decent hair dryer in the hotel is highly desired.

We loved the location, close to everything. Walking distance to all our favourite areas. The employees were professional and ready to help, and very friendly. It is on a quiet side street, didn’t hear any outside noise. Breakfast was delicious, everything you would need to start your day. We liked everything.

We stayed twice in this hotel and loved it. Loved the location, the people and the breakfast. Our room was clean, and quiet. Great water pressure. Walkable to all the wonderful city of Paris has to offer. Loved everything

Really nice small hotel.

Excellent location with very friendly/helpful staff. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. Comfortable beds. Very clean and quiet. A nice place to relax after touring Paris each day. Highly recommend. I, mistakingly thought the breakfast was included. He was nice enough to knock off one day of breakfast. A kind gesture. The breakfast was EXCELLENT. Well tended to.

Hotêl Marais de Launay was both comfy and cozy. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed. We especially appreciated the large bed, fresh white linens, the ceramic cups and saucers to sip complimentary coffee and tea (real milk provided), the large screen TV where we enjoyed watching Roland Garros, eco-friendly glass water bottle in the fridge (with refills in the lobby) and ample space for clothing and suitcases. We opted for the breakfast, served in a charming (and surprisingly bright) cellar with varied options of bread, cakes, croissants, fresh fruit, egg and sausage. No complaints whatsoever.

My room # 55 is comfortable. I expected rooms to be small but it had an alcove to park our luggage. Everyone staff working are very accomodating and welcoming . Shout out to Patricia who has the patience of a nun inspite of a busy check in hour! I like the hotel’s walking distance to Arr 3 and 4 There were unpleasant looking people sleeping on the ground across the street. However, it was a busy Paris when we arrived due to soccer championship.

The staff! Gwendolyn, Daniel, Roxanna - all were so friendly and helpful!!! So enjoyed the neighborhood especially the Bastille open market which is a favorite of both locals and tourists. Great food! The crepes not to be missed!

Price The room was pretty bare. No desk, no luggage rack, no closet. Storage places were on shelves

Tiny bathroom. Poor ventilation

The room smelled gross, the light near my bed didn't work. The elevator didn't work at the time I had to check out with my heavy luggage. I think there was a supernatural here.

Breakfast is not included to the price.

Terrible beds, very old and uncomfortable.

The whole experience is great.
