Casa Loma Inn

I loved that the property was right on the beach. Great location and the prices were affordable. We also loved the swimming pool. The room was very dirty and outdated. Our feet were black after walking through the room. You had to flush the toilet at least 5-6 times for it to actually flush. The paint was peeling off the shower floor. To top it off, we found cockroaches in the room and yes i called the front desk and told them.

We would love to stay here agian.

NOTHING THIS IS YOUR WARNING. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. We had a 6-night stay booked at the Casa Loma in August. The first thing about this hotel is that it is not accessible whatsoever. This hotel does not have elevators and if your room is not on the second floor which is parking level, you will have to climb a lot of stairs to get to your room. We had a room on the second floor. When first entering the room on the night we got there, we immediately noticed it was not as clean as a typical chain hotel e.g. a holiday inn etc. The floor was sandy from previous guests, the little breakfast table had stains, around the fridge had caked up dirt. We decided to look past it and stay. *Disclaimer we did not keep food trash in the room, only closed, sealed snacks*. The first night before bed, there was an adult roach in the bathroom, crawling around the door. We killed it and moved on. The second and third night we saw more roaches, adult and baby ones, crawling on the walls, the breakfast table and the floors. We saw where there was a big crack on the bottom of the wall that had the balcony door on it. We saw a lot crawl in from there along with others emerging. The fourth night is where we drew the line. We had gone out for the day and came back to the room around 9pm and came back to roaches crawling everywhere. On the floors, on the walls, on the table, everywhere. We killed all the ones we had seen and at this point it was around 1am, so we could not change hotels. I walked outside to the security guard and asked him if he could give us any roach spray so we could spray that and sleep in peace for the night. He handed that to us and I went back to the room and sprayed the whole thing down. After spraying we crawled in bed and after relaxing for about 10 minutes, 1 CRAWLED IN BED WITH US. That's where we drew the line, I got on the phone with booking.com and demanded a refund. They said they couldn't do anything until the morning when they could talk to the hotel.

Location is perfect! The price is reasonable. Nothing

Location... location... location... Balcony door lock & doorknob needed replaced room 210. TV had to be replaced on the last day we we're without TV for a while but it was replaced.

The location was excellent! It was right on the beach, and the balcony offered a beautiful view of the ocean. I loved that you could walk directly from the hotel’s gate onto the beach—it was so convenient! This older property was in poor condition and clearly in need of significant renovations. There were four flights of stairs and no elevator, which was very inconvenient. The room was dated and visibly worn, the chairs were extremely dirty, and the sheets on one of the beds were dingy. To make matters worse, small roaches were coming out of the sink, which was completely unacceptable. While the beachfront location was a plus, the condition of the property did not justify the nearly $200 per night price.

The location is perfect. It’s in a quieter area between what we consider the 2 strips. Every room has a great view of the gulf. Great opportunities to watch sunset. We stay here every time we come to PCB.

The only two things that I liked about this property was the location and the lady that checked us in. The very small parking lot, the room was very dusty and wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. The dust was so bad it aggravated our allergies. The blinds were broken, the door to enter the room was very hard to open and close. The bathroom was extremely small. The beds were not comfortable at all. The refrigerator wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival and had a piece of hair in the freezer. The TV was in poor condition, the color kept showing up dark so we couldn’t see what was on that good. We were put on the fourth floor and had a lot of luggage so we kept the room and made the best of it. I hate that there wasn’t an elevator. This was our first time staying at this property and it will be the last. We will not be staying here again.

The size of the room was nice especially with kids and it’s right on the beach with balconies. The bathroom was tiny. The parking was horrible. A lot of humidity in the rooms, the balcony doors were hard to open and then wouldn’t stay closed.

The room was cute, clean and comfortable. The view and location was great. The water pressure in the shower was awesome. The price was very reasonable. The only negative was the fact there isn't an elevator. Its not a deal breaker, but a little difficult to navigate to the 4th floor with luggage.

The cleaning staff did keep us fresh towels everyday. Appreciated that. They also are great about keeping the sand off the stairs and the floors outside your doors Great views. Time for update in rooms. Mold on ceiling and the toilets are looking rough. Pillows not that comfortable.
