Residence Inn by Marriott Ocean City

The property claims that there is private beach but there isn't. It is bay facing and not beach facing. The water view is still really good but if you are looking for beach facing option then this is not that.

Clean room, breakfast amazing, staff helpful and pleasant, views from balcony awesome. Are beautiful bar tender in hotel amazing and wonderful. Highly recommended

The same breakfast every day. The indoor pool was dirty with hair floating and a cup inside the pool. The staff that assisted us were awesome.

The hotel itself is lovely, but it was not quite the experience my husband and I were looking for. It is advertised as being on the beach with bay views, but Coastal Highway, several businesses, and smaller hotels stand between the Marriott and the beach. We were also hoping for a quiet getaway, but I could hear the entire conversation in the room next door, even though the guests were not shouting. The advertised bay view is partially obstructed by a parking lot and a row of homes. Guests on the lower floors may not be able to see much of the bay at all, and sitting on a balcony overlooking parked cars was not what I had envisioned. Overall, it is a nice hotel, just not the peaceful beachfront getaway I had in mind.

This hotel used to be great. They definitely have not kept up. So let's start wobbly toilet, broken pool loungers, dirty stained chairs in the common area, for breakfast, broken rail to enter the pool, took them forever to stock pool towels in the morning. So definitely not staying here again.. Do better Marriott!

The location and breakfast are great.

Never told at check in room rate included breakfast daily. No parking space available on site any of the 7 nights. Outdoor pool water was green.

A stain on the couch as big as the cushion so we never used the couch. That was enough for me not to be satisfied

Pool is tiny. Room to door did not close well. Not worth the cost.

It was okay. Bathroom wasn’t clean but they sent staff over upon calling the front desk and got it cleaned. Everything else was just fine. Not bad, not great.

Room was very clean and spacious. The food was excellent! And walking distance from Coastal Hwy where everything is for tourist!

The room could’ve used a better cleaning. The couches were dirty and stained up so I didn't want to let my kids sit on them, as well as the carpet was sticky and you can tell they hadn’t been shampooed. The chairs where the restaurant/breakfast area was, were EXTREMELY FILTHY. They either need replaced or a clean team to come in and deep clean them. They’re cloth so you’re sitting on all that grime. Breakfast is free which is a GREAT amenity BUT the food was blah. Taste wasn’t there and it was very basic. That needs a step up. The pool was dirty multiple days and the staff out there doesn’t clean the area. They sit on their phones and fold towels all day. There isn’t a private “beach” like they advertise for. It’s a sand landing and it’s filled with debris. Happy hour at the pool was great with great pricing! That’s a plus. The paying to park is extremely ridiculous. One car should come at LEAST with your stay for how much you’re paying to stay, especially because some nights there is no parking and you have to make do. All in all I would Rate this 3.5 stars out of 5. Definitely needs some work.

Front desk staff was not good

Front desk staff, including manager was not good. Long wait times and housekeeping was delayed beyond 6 PM.

One of our favorite places to say. Staff is wonderful and exceptionally accommodating. Rooms are always clean. Appreciate being able to take our dog with us on vacation. Made our vacation stress free. Thank you Megan for everything you've done!
