We had a larger than average suite compared to other similar “junior” suites, one of two like it. The public washrooms for the pool area were deep in the basement, far from the pool. I noticed a few groups drinking in the pool for hours and hours, not once bothering to find the hidden washrooms.

Breakfast was good That I was charged a booking of @ $180 as well as a room cost of @ $800.

I wish they had more entertainment at night and also it was so quiet during the day at the pool. It would be nice if they could play some music at the pool.

The allowed practice to save pool seating all day with a towel. There must be a way to free up some unused seating

Breakfast choices were amazing the fact that the elevator by us wasn't working and at one point the only other elevator wasn't working I felt that it needed a face lift in all the rooms The not stop music at the pool was too loud and went for too long, a little silence is a good thing

The rooms, the facilities and staff everything was exceptional. We really enjoyed all the different food choices on property The pull out couch was not that comfortable. But manageable

Everything Nothing

We loved the food and view of our room. The staff was hospitable and we felt safe. Our view facing the ocean and surrounding mountains was immaculate. Not much to complain about.

Excellent stay, the staff were extremely helpful. Will be returning in the future. Nothing negative to say

Very friendly staff Building 1 does not get direct sun. Room was damp and all my clothes remained damp. Hallways were very noisy with staff, loud talking and carts rolling by. We could not get into our room and it took an hour for main to come and figure it out. Breakfast was good but super expensive at $30 for buffet. Not enough counter space in bathroom for toiletries. Bed was ok, kind of soft. Stupid loud music at pool areas. Several people tried to sell timeshares.

We have been coming Villa del Palmar Flamingos on and off since 2004. Since 2022, we have been coming once or twice a year to accommodate my parents. The staff is exceptional! We love the pool and the pizza/bar and Italian restaurants. We enjoy walking the beach and using the canoes. Unfortunately, some of the restaurants are becoming very expensive, like the breakfast buffet (although a 2 for 1 is offered in the early morning), and El Patron. Since the place was built in 2003-2004, it is starting to show some wear and tear. In 2023, the pool was very cloudy and the water fountains weren't working.

The food and the room and the heated toilet seats DIEGO was also simply the BEST. At the front :) At times the hot tub wasn’t warm enough

Pool chairs were always taken with towels, even though there was only 15-20 people in the pool.

It is well kept. But I have to take exception with management. When you have parties or functions the property should be cleaned thoroughly and all the portable furniture should be put away before the guests wake in the morning. The room we had was kept beautifully clean and the woman that turned down the bedding at night has such a pretty smile. She enjoyed her job. Most of the staff was like that. The staff is not on the same page and you get conflicting information and some are wrong. When we arrived at check in that person who is the first person you meet needs to be reminded that that fact. If she smiled I bet it would have been the first time in her tenure. I asked for something and was dismissed. I had requested since the original booking for a high floor with Ocean View. Well every room has an Ocean View. The room we stayed in was very nice but I could hear everything going on in the lobby and early morning staff movements.

It is a lovely facility. The wait staff were friendly and attentive The front desk staff were grumpy and unhelpful. There is a terrible noise in building one all night. I called the customer desk and was told they would look into it and call me back. I never heard another word

Pool and beach is great. Restaurants are good with good selection of food and reasonable prices. Activities are fun. It is nice to have a resort where non inclusive is a choice The junior suite should have two chairs and a kitchen. Computer system for check in and check out was down which resulted in key mix ups and excessive time and paper. It is an expensive resort so the rooms should be better furnished.

Hotel and mist workers were very nice, I had been there before Paid for a junior suite and my daughter paid for a regular room and her room was bigger than mine. When I asked they said there was no difference, just the price which was a big difference. They said they would change us to a different room since the one they gave us had a few things that needed fixing, but front lady was not very nice about that. Not until my husband was upset and complained, they gave us a different room… really did take a “man” to talk, To get heard?
