Reviews
-
The locations was good for Williamsburg.
-
Great location but rooms are small and in need of updating. Not bad for a short stay.
-
Great location and staff were prompt and pleasant. The coffee and bar area in the lobby are very nice. Was able to get a ride Uber/lyft in 2 minutes. The area is also very walkable and close to nearby spots It is quite small and expensive.
-
My room was too small for human habitation and had no closet. I was out of the room for 8 hours and it still hadn’t been cleaned. The front desk agent said that he would review my bill but predictably nothing was done. Never coming back.

Excellent hotel! Will absolutely be staying there again!

Loved the location. Everything in the room was done well. Restaurants were good. Lobby/Kfar was great. My only complaint is that the room was too small which made it hard to move around. No closet space. Nowhere to put suitcases or shoes. I hit my ankle on the bed frame many times.
-
Cozy room with comfortable bed and nicely equipped. Strong Shower pressure was my favorite. Vintage items in room add a lovely charm. Coffee bar and sitting area is nice. Restaurant is well worth it. Great location.

Poor
-
Room was tight with luggage and the king size bed, otherwise a great room.
-
Clean room. Friendly staff
-
The area is very noisy at night. We had to use a sound app to sleep. We also had a ‘Roomie” room which is the largest size. The room was very small. No closet. Tiny table with one chair. Tiny nightstands.

Was good
-
Beds comfy, rooms dark, so good night sleep was easy. Our shower did leak a lot of water out onto the bathroom floor and the set up meant you couldn't keep a towel there, a small annoyance. Staff all very friendly.
-
Clean, with a nice vibe in a great part of Brooklyn. Be aware that the rooms are small, but the lobby area is large and welcoming, offering a great place to chill or work.
-
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and suitable for solo travel. However, there was no hot water at "busy times" which is a bit of a surprise given the hotel's reputation and price.
-
The hotel is beautifully designed. Clean and simple but very cozy and tasteful. The location is great. You get a very nice view of Manhattan. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was very small but had everything you would need. For a long stay with 2 adults and 1 kid it could get too crammed but for a 2 day visit it was enough. There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area and public transportation is close by. Take the ferry it was breathtaking.
-
I already shared with the property all my grievances and they ignored me during adn after my stay but long story short, the room was super filthy, the filthiest I have ever stayed in, I asked for it to be cleaned, it was never cleaned. I will be asking for a partial refund.

Great location.

The location is great for a family. Walking distance to parks (one block), restaurants, coffee shops, shopping areas, etc. Property is cleaned. Restaurants on-site are delicious. Staff were cool and nice at the same time; somehow this combination works here. My supplies were not replenished during room service such as coffee, mugs, and milk. I called in to request two times and they bring them up quickly :)

Our stay at the Hoxton was convenient, restful, and memorable. The location and property were all that we needed during our stay and were thoroughly impressed during our trip.
