Well-located, clean, and welcoming property with friendly staff. Rachel is very skilled, friendly, and professional. Breakfast was included. It wasn't mentioned on Booking.com that breakfast would be at the venue next door rather than at the hotel—in a very busy place in the morning with a limited selection for hotel guests. This should be stated on Booking.com, otherwise it is misleading.

Location and Japanese novelty Extremely loud air conditioning, no water in the room, enormous noise throughout the night from construction and road.

This was a very convenient, clean, and affordable hotel close to transportation — perfect for executing a move to the city. Rooms were large for NYC, beds were comfortable, bathroom was large, and dinosaur in the lobby was cute. Only complaint were the paper thin walls and the refusal to lend a second umbrella on a rainy day (there was one in the room but there were two of us). This policy is easy to fix and would go a long way. The restaurant was excellent. Authentic and delicious Japanese food!

We arrived New York in early morning on 3rd of August with an overnight flight. The front desk staff was very helpful and try every possible to make the room available. He looks like Japanese but I forgot his name. We appreciate his assistance and service.

Location Rude staff, no water or coffee in the room, difficult check in process. They kept us waiting at 2 am in the morning when we were checking in because there was a credit card issue. I asked them to pay for that night cash as we were so tired and kids fell asleeping in the lobby they said double price for that night. And attitute of the women at the check in desk was unrespectful. She acted like we were not gonna pay and asked me to contact booking at 2 am in the morning.

Staff was wonderful the entire time

Very good location, 5min walk from Penn Station. Extremely clean, convenient bed and big enough bathroom. A lot of sightseeing at walk distance No space for 2 big suitcases though it is double room. One chair and not enough dedicated place for luggage.

The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond whenever we needed assistance. We also loved having a phenomenal Japanese sushi restaurant attached to the hotel. The location was a huge plus, with Madison Square Garden only about a five-minute walk away and Times Square, shopping, restaurants, and plenty of other attractions nearby. The Jurassic Park dinosaur in the window was a fun touch and gave the hotel some personality. We also enjoyed the second-floor lounge area, which was a great quiet space to catch up on work, read, listen to music, or relax. Our room had a few maintenance issues when we arrived. Both the bathroom sink and bathtub were clogged, and for the first two nights the air conditioner rattled enough to make sleeping difficult. The staff responded immediately when we brought these issues to their attention and gave us a discount for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.
