I love the property. It is like a home away from home. It’s like visiting family. Peter and Elaine’s hospitality is so warm and friendly and that breakfast way more than I am used to but great especially for a Jamaican born living abroad. Nothing really.

Everything from beginning to end was exceptional. The ocean view room in the front house was absolutely perfect. And whatever you do — DO NOT skip their daily breakfast ? seriously… let the tours wait, enjoy your breakfast, soak in the view, and start your day slowly. Crystal, Charlotte, Terry, and Laura were the kindest, sweetest people you could ever meet. Truly the warm hug you didn’t know you needed. ❤️ The property has TWO stunning pools with breathtaking views and 24-hour access — plus no kids around, which made it feel so peaceful and relaxing. We loved sitting by the front pool at night listening to the music from Hip Strip nearby. The gardens, the stairs leading down toward Hip Strip, the atmosphere… everything felt magical. I could honestly go on for days about how much we loved this place. Best stay in Montego Bay for couples and families without small children. We will absolutely be back. ??:: Leaving :( I did not want to leave at all!!

The swimming pool is not great . Can't swim in it, is very narrow.

The breakfast and location was phenomenal each day we had a choice of the house staple dishes with and added new dish each day with our stay. The property is in a Central location of the city and most food and attractions are readily available within a 15 min to 30 min walk for mid level fit individuals. I can't say enough about Peter and his wife and the entire staff everyone very pleasant helpful and attentive to your needs and safety while visiting the property and surrounding areas. I didn't have the opportunity to meet their daughter Laura but I did speak with her last year when we arranged our initial first stay and had to cancel due to a hurricane so I can be confident in saying she is an added gem as well even not meeting her in person. Book your stay at Polkerris Bed and Breakfast you will not be disappointed. I loved everything about the property the beds are extremely comfortable bathrooms large and extremely clean. The only thing I didn't like was my last day having to leave and go back home.

The location was amazing - close to the Hip Strip and many restaurants and the beach. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the accommodations were beautiful. It was a perfect place for our weekend getaway.

Perfect location with a view that was beyond beautiful! The owners were so helpful and we felt like family- Shirlett was so amazing with serving breakfast every morning- The fresh fruit plate was amazing and anything you asked for they provided to you! I have never stayed at a better bed and breakfast and we will definitely be returning as soon as we can! Spending our honeymoon here was the best decision we ever made Loved everything! What’s not to love??

The property was well manicured and conveniently located. We felt safe and secure. Loved the pool and its size. View of the Ocean spectacular.

The pillows were a bit hard (for me) and I would have liked a comforter instead of just a blanket. Other than that, nothing.

We picked this place based on the reviews and it exceeded our expectations and I will definitely return with my family. I felt like I was at my mother’s home for the holidays. Everything we needed was made available immediately. The breakfast was the best I have ever seen at a B&B. You all were great. Everything was perfect

Polkerris Bed and Breakfast – 10/10 Recommendation! Take time to unwind and relax at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The breakfast each morning was fit for a king and queen—fresh fruit, coffee, tea, juice, and a variety of delicious options to choose from. It kept us full for most of the day! The location is perfect—close to the beach—and the grounds are absolutely stunning. The waterfall adds such a peaceful touch. The hospitality was amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We even locked ourselves out of our room at 2 a.m., and they let us back in with no problem at all. I will **always** stay here when I visit. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful and well kept! The owners and staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The view was amazing. Breakfast was truly outstanding and I looked forward to the offerings each day.

The selection of breakfast varied as we were able to choose and it was very filling as well. We had a bit of difficulty finding the strip of road that leads up to the exact location as persons along the main road who were familiar with the area was not aware of the name. But being consistent and determined as I am I finally got through with the owners and they were able to find me. He was very patient and kind. To be honest I would not change anything as I have plans to visit again on our next Anniversary. Thank you for a exception service.

A Hidden gem, my new favorite spot! I'm older and so a lot of the hustle and bustle of the Hip Strip is lost on me. I want a place that is quiet and beautiful; rest and relaxation are most important to me. Wow, wow, wow!!! Polkerris was Amazing!!! It won't be for everyone; it's up a hill which will immediately reveal what shape your heart is in, and honestly, the hill was taxing enough that I didn't want to walk it every day. Fortunately, I didn't have to!! A gentleman named Michael is the prompt and courteous driver the property recommends, but the property is so tranquil and peaceful that who wants to leave?!? I felt like I was in my own private island getaway!! From the arrival, with Laura's husband taking my bags, to meeting Laura, the manager who made herself available 24/7, to the delightful woman who served us every morning whose name I failed to get, to Ms. Teresa, the matriarch who, though elderly, is actively involved with management of the property - - so much about this trip was simply superlative. My room opened onto the pool, and breakfast each day was overlooking the beautiful waters of Montego Bay. This won't be for everyone, but if you want a place to recharge your batteries, to be surrounded by natural beauty, and to have the option of being right in the middle of the Hip Strip if you want, this is the place! I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed it!!! I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but it is located atop a very challenging hill.
